I have absolute blind belief in Arsenal. Think we'll beat Wolves. Things are coming together for us and Dani Ceballos showed some of his special talent against Norwich.

Norwich
Is that Norwich that have conceded 60 goals and threw the towel in before the lockdown?

Some of the things he was doing would work against anyone. It's worth remembering that most of our squad has been gravely underperforming. If Arteta can get a bit more out of them, you'd be surprised by the quality we have.

I don’t doubt Arsenal have some talented players but they don’t seem to be pulling in the same direction at the moment, and it’s early day’s for Arteta, but I don’t think he has yet proved to be the man for the job. A win for Wolves on Saturday would put them 9 points clear of Arsenal and go a long way towards sealing a top 6 finish

How do you think we feel out here? We live in the holiday paradise of Mallorca. We we locked down (properly locked down for 5 weeks) as a result our Island is Covid-19 free. Now the cheap flights have started a nd the muppets who were on Bournemouth beach last week are coming by the plane load. This island lives for tourism but as far as me and Mrs Gem are concerned you can all feck off!
.............
that's fine for well off expats but i don't expect the locals who rely on income from tourists to put food on the table and pay their bills are quite so fussy.

With the quarantine rules being relaxed it looks as though the second leg against Olympiakos on August 5th or 6th will be played at Molineux.

The quarter finals onwards will be one off matches played in a tournament in Germany. Those matches will possibly allow a limited number of spectators to watch the games, maybe 5,000 or 10,000

good luck with the 5,000 limit if it's a wolves v united game.

Good luck with the 5,000 limit for any game.

Been some ridiculous var decisions but the disallowed Spurs goal yesterday takes the biscuit. Moura was tripped from behind and as he fell over, the ball rebounded off his arm. Ref played the advantage rule and Kane scored but it was disallowed by var because of accidental handball.

The Premier League will decide next week on the start date for the 20/21 season. It will either be on Aug 22,29 or Sept 5th. This will mean Wolves and the two Manchester teams having no pre season if they progress in their European competitions. And if they get as far as the final they could miss the opening games of the season with the Europa Final set for August 21. The Premier League are proposing an August 22 start so they can fill their tv commitment to have 34 weekends in the season

Let's hope we add to the squad a little better this summer if that is the case or we will be running on empty by xmas

I've never liked VAR and as you say this takes the biscuit. It also took nearly 3 minutes to come up with that decision I think it is getting worse not better.
As Mourinho said, they ref on the pitch is not in charge of the game, mind you he doesn't say that when they get the decision.

It's that handball rule. It's awful. Until that changes we will keep seeing these terrible decisions.

I can't remember thinking any goal I have seen disallowed under that rule was a sensible decision.

Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes both got injured in training today and are a doubt for tomorrow's game. Maybe Bournemouth can pull off a shock result?

I don't think Bournemouth could beat their own meat at the moment.

Big game tomorrow this, a real chance to cement a top six finish but more importantly really establish ourselves as a genuine top six side going forward.
