It's a difficult one. We don't play until Thursday after that. However, I'd be tempted to rest Bruno for this one as I think we can't afford to over play players as we hopefully have a lot of games left this season.

I think the fact that he was hauled off when on a hatrick means he’s a shoe in for Saturday.

I agree that we don’t want to overplay player’s but he’s already our most important player. Liverpool never rest Van Dijk for instance.

Whatever team you put out, you'll absolutely maul them. They're done. Can't score, can't stop conceding, heads are already in the Championship.

Feel sorry for them as they spent about £50m or three rubbish players from Liverpool but you can't keep playing an attacking system when you're not scoring goals, you have to change it and Howe hasn't done that.

It would appear that way but I just have this feeling their defence will turn into 90s Milan for one game only.

Often happens against us at OT.

Well they did it against City to be fair. Extremely boring game but they lost it anyhow 1-0.

Or was that last season?

Poor keeping again by Dean Henderson. Not sure he’s the answer.

It will be a routine 2 or 3 - 0. Bournemouth are rubbish bar a couple of players and it will be shooting practice. De Gea should be allowed to play fly keeper.

Same team 100%. It’s 6 games, need to win every game. As said, do the business, then take players off.

As long as the sports science guys are happy with his fitness then that's the main thing. I suppose playing is better than training anyway. With five subs we can afford just to give players a half if we're doing OK.

I like the 5 sub rule. Wouldn’t be against it being permanent.

Go strong and try and get the game done by half time. Bournemouth are in absolutely wretched form. We should be more than capable of going two or three up before half time.

Bournemouth beat us last time out in a game we had a couple of big chances all missed. Time for revenge.

It'd be interesting from a strategy perspective as, like in rugby, the 'finishers' (subs) would be just as important as the starters.

If the players feel fit and ready, play them. Top 4 is in our (the players) hands, if pogba, fernandes and co want CL, go play for it.

Exactly.

I do think if it was to become a permanent fixture it would need to have some restrictions to stop managers using it as a time wasting tactic when holding a narrow lead.

Maybe have a cut off point at 75 or 80 mins where if you have 2,3 or 4 subs made at that point you are only allowed make 1 more.

If you have 0 or 1 subs used at that point then you can make your 2 or 3 remaining subs as normal.

I think the 5 Sub Rule is important to the health and safety of the players. Careers have been cut short because a player stayed on the pitch too long, "taking one for the team". Is it so much of a stretch from the current 3-Sub Rule? Regardless, Ole should and will start Bruno and that same line-up so we can thrash the Cherries and try and get 3-4 nil by 60 minutes. A deserved rest after the hour is in order. 3rd place is ours if we want it bad enough. "Trashing the Cherries" sounds like great fun, donut?

Stick, keep bruno and Pogba in, as Bournemouth are not the sort of team that will press and possibly expose them- be interesting to see how they do against a good pressing team, bit of an unknown at the mo, hopefully cope well.

I don't like the 5 subs rule. Subs were introduced for the welfare of an injured player. Not so the manager can tinker with the system let alone use them for time wasting or disrupt the flow of a game.

Surprised by Spurs. A win tonight gave them an outside chance of top 4. Firmly a 4 horse race for 2 places now.

Stick and go for goals... Leicester have a better goal difference should it come to it... Good chance to eat into it
