The ball was literally booted at his arm when he was falling to the ground.
Ridiculous call.
The sooner that rule goes the better.
Haven't seen it, but I imagine it was the correct call.
It's a dumb rule but it's nothing to do with being clear and obvious, it's simply the new rule that you can't score if it touches the players hand at any point in the build up.
Clearly hit his arm, which clearly interfered in a goal scoring opportunity, never a goal
As you revelled in telling City fans after the champions league game.
It's the rules đź‘Ť
You got away with one in the last game
It’s a bad rule but one that’s been implemented the entire season. Can’t change it half way through just because it doesn’t suit your team
If anyone can tell me why he didn’t go back and award the free kick to spurs after disallowing the goal then please let me know. Player gets fouled and as he’s falling the ball is booted at the back of his arm / shoulder / back (inconclusive) from 1cm away and it’s handball so no goal but no free kick to spurs ?
To be fair I now watch games as a circus act so I’m not even upset spurs are losing. Just find it all quite amusing
The ref clearly played advantage so everything that happened in that incident should have been ignored.
Its not as if Moura collected the ball thinking he was fouled and threw it to Kane.

The thing is var can only overrule offside, red cards or something that effects a goal.
If every debatable decision goes to VAR we become as stop/start as rugby.
I do agree with your point though.
You will see a similar incident some time in the future with different clubs and officials, and a goal will be given such is the inconsistency, incompetence, bias and corruption involved in football.
How does a referee not give a card for that elbow, he was looking straight at it.
It wasn’t a ridiculous var call, it was the correct decision. The problem is that the hand ball rule is ridiculous.
It is not even in top 20 worst decisions with VAR. Correct decision and easy decision.

From the start of this season it is hanball whether intentional or not so the Ref was correct.
I just watched it and agree with Jamie Redknapp. And I don't find myself listening to him often.
Does anyone understand why Levy appoints Mourinho
You should be ashamed of yourself.
43,000 people have died in England alone, more are dying every day - some of them are Spurs fans, and yet all you give a s*** about is a refereeing decision.

But it is the rule...frustrating as it may be.
The problem is that the lawmakers want handball to be a black and white decision.
If it were simply left as deliberate, at the referee’s discretion, we wouldn’t have this shambles.
