Was never a red card, it wasn't a leg breaker and certainly not serious foul play. No common sense used by the referee a new player on the pitch not up to speed with game add into that the slippery conditions. Having said that Laccazette should of buried at least one of the chances he had. It was decent team team performance just missing the goals to go with the performance.

Red was harsh, was going for the ball. Wouldn't have been a yellow a few years back...
Laca should have scored to put beyond doubt.
A bit gutted tonight, killed momentum for the Spurs game.

You see them challenges all the time and not even checked. Its worse cause Justin runs full pelt into it

Never a red card?

I can only imagine Arsenal Wenger’s reaction if the foul had been against an Arsenal player

Vardy goal also should have been disallowed as Perrera was in an offside position. Guarantee it would have been disallowed if it was the other way round. I kept saying how I wanted at least a 5 point lead over Spurs going into the North London Derby but we may now not even have a lead at all

Mustafi had a good game but he was definitely at fault for their goal, you cannot allow Vardy space behind you like that

If VAR have to look at it 20 times its not a clear and obvious mistake is it and shouldn't be saying to the referee you need to look at it again. Poor decision all round.

I get the conditions were poor and he was fresh on but in today’s almost non contact game that’s a red all day long

You sat back and invited pressure again.

I've said it before, Arteta is more a Simeone/Pulis style manager than Pep/Wenger.

We don't have the players to control a game for 90

As was Vardy deliberately studding Mustafi in the face, there is no way his leg makes that action normally, but that's fine, didn't even get looked at by VAR.

Ref was biased all game though, should have booked countless Leicester players but let them get away with foul after foul, often not blowing at all.

There's not controlling then there's that.

Your approach away to Chelsea was the most diabolical example of anti football i've ever seen bar Jose at Barca 2010, and it wasn't that much better in Manchester!

If that's the case why wasn't Vardy sent off? A kick to the head to me is far more dangerous even if it wasn't meant. The precedent was set earlier in the season when Son was sent off for the challenge he made on Andre Gomes, there was nothing wrong with challenge but unfortunately he broke his ankle and Son was punished not for the intent but the result of the tackle.

What about at home to Chelsea? Outplayed them first half, then ran out of puff. As castor is saying, we can't control full games yet.

And?

posted on 7/7/20

In my opinion the movement/direction Vardy's leg travelled in was unnatural and deliberate.

Of course Redknapp thinks vardy shouldn't have been sent off

Actually looks dodgy after seeing the replays...

I thought at the time vardy meant to do him, but it's never gonna get given as a red, even with var. Pikey cuuuunt knew what he was doing.
