Thing is about this. Every time we get screwed over, straight after there is an example of another team getting different treatment for same thing. Watch tonight and tomorrow and I guarantee it will happen

I have looked at the Vardy incident from many angles and conclude it was pre meditated and vicious. Why VAR did not take a closer look, I do not know.

The other challenge was an easier decision for the ref to make in real time.

Vardy went to the Paul Scholes school of tackling and when Paul was out Stevie Wonder took charge of the class.

I don't really care if the Vardy got a red or not, more of a problem it didn't at least get looked at by VAR when mustafi had holes in his face, which was pretty much Artetas point

Nketiah deserved his red, it was a dumb tackle

They both deserved a red and that is the problem. VAR was supposed to fix these issues and it clearly does not. But have a fracking toe nail offside and they are all over it. VAR.... Various And Random.

I'm no fan of VAR but what you're basically saying is that it can only be fixed if all decisions made are in line with your opinion.

This is the issue with football fans.

The referee is wrong unless he agrees with me.

Until people understand that most decisions are a matter of opinion, nothing will ever be solved.

Some of the comments on this thread are absolutely ridiculous.

It was a big stop in play and he had holes in his face, not hard for them to have a look then, surely you agree that's a good enough reason to check it

The goal was too close to call, I'd give it as onside though

My issue is two heads are not better than one. We went along with bad decisions in real time. Now with up to 3 mins to make a decision kills the game. Especially goals being disallowed.

Yes human error will always be a factor but fact off.... They have one job and are fracking it up.

I entirely agree about the criticisms of VAR, other than the suggestion that a red card not being awarded last night is an example of it failing.

Yeah comments like yours and anyone else stupid enough to try to justify vardy not being sent off. Either you are biased for whatever reason or just an idiot. There is no inbetween

Why you clown? Obviously VAR should have checked it and obviously vardy should have been sent off. What part are you struggling with?

Impossible to determine intent, but I think vardy knew what he was doing. He probably regretted it as soon as he felt contact with mustafis face.

A red card all day long.

The referees in England are inept and corrupt in equal measure and no where is it more evident that their decisions against Arsenal.

Clutching at straws there aren’t you? You can see it’s completely accidental. Vardy was quick to offer up help as soon as it happened

Because everyone hates arsenal
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I would wager most fans on here wanted arsenal to win tonight. Nobody cares to much about arsenal nowadays
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I like Arsenal more than Liverpool, Spurs and Manchester United as I don’t see them as a threat.

Neither are u a threat to the big boys just remember that

I think the Vardy incident is a harder incident to give a red card to than the Nketiah one. Personally i think Nketiah was an easy red.

Vardy was a more difficult one but I am shocked it wasn't at least reviewed by VAR.

It annoys me that it took Arteta to point it out for anyone to even discuss. If Arteta hadn't Sky would not have mentioned it.

I dont think Referees are bias against Arsenal. Every club fans think that because they don't like decisions that go against them. If you look at how it all plays out I do believe it evens itself out in the end.

The media however I do think are bias against Arsenal. Always on the attack even if we win by like 5 goals, they'll say "yeah but they still have problems" and then discuss the problems rather than the positives in the match.

If we win 1-0 by a scrappy goal after a poor performance, they'll say its a lucky win for Arsenal. Another club does it and suddenly its a sign of being a good team and a sign of being champions.

Watch the media and just notice how bias they are against Arsenal. Its unreal.

In regards to referees, they make mistakes and that happens. We must however have such a poor refereeing course and a very poor influx of refs. None make it to major tournaments anymore because they are bloody awful.

I actually support importing foreign refs they have become so bad.

So if there’s a spurs fan who is similarly convinced of media bias against them - what would say to them?
