Not seen him play much tbh.

Probably wasn’t much in it between him and Sterling a couple years back, but he’s gone to another level now. All over the pitch whenever I’ve watched Liverpool this season, he’s got an unreal engine on him.

Yeah I think he is probably Liverpool’s most important player. Him, TAA and Alisson are almost irreplaceable - whereas a lot of their other quality players I think you wouldn’t see as much of a drop off in the team if you replaced them.

Virgil van Dijk couldn’t be replaced by anyone in the world very easily imo. We’d miss him hugely.
Don’t you rate him?

How would he become a global brand like Messi at Barca?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Mane has a huge followers in Africa and Africans think of Barca and RM as the ultimate teams to play for. If Mane joined either of them, his already huge profile would triple easily.

I've heard this of South Americans but not Africans.

Oh, I have lived in Africa for a few years and still follow football there and trust me, almost everywhere on the continent, specially mid Africa and down, every kid has a Mane on his back! From mid and up, Salah seems to be favourite!

Top player. To think a lot of United fan probably including myself turned out nose up at him when we were linked under LVG

When everyone is a mad Barca or RM fan. Though Liverpool are probably the most recognised English side, and then Spurs following Moura heroics last year in CL.

But there is a reason for Barca and RM being so popular in and around the Ghana, Senegal and Ivory coast area. For years, Barca have been running a footy school over there, looking out for the next Drogba etc

Apologies, I was referring to the dream of ending up at Barca/RM

Think he's better than Salah personally. Typical player out of the Red Bull system (dunno how they do it) - strong, quick, agile - if he made better in-game decisions he'd be a top 5 player in the world.

Before 18-19 Klopp's Liverpool were never truly consistent, but the one time they went on a really bad run was when Mane left for the ACON. Shows how important he is.
