Very sly if football clubs do this. It's like the iPhone. The really good one costs a bomb but there is a cheaper one and this is the same with the kits. The kit the players wear or cheap version replica.

That is outrageous. Disgusting.

If true, £100 for a football shirt is outrageous.

Also if you’re going to link a s*n article could you please make it more obvious in the article. I refuse to click the s*n links but didn’t know as a google article was linked in the OP

Appalling and I feel for any parent with a couple of kids who would want the kit.
Will cost them a small fortune.

£175.00 for a replica football kit, the worlds gone nuts.

We already have done this.

Since we’ve been with Nike there’s always been the expensive vapour (elite) kit and then a cheaper “stadium” kit

posted on 9/7/20

what kind of sharticle is this?
Just a quick google search and I can find it for £60

posted on 9/7/20

Also none of this will be Levy’s saying or doing.

Nike will pay him £XXm a year to be our sponsor/sell our kits and then they own that side of the business. We may get a bonus due to shirt sales or whatever, but Levy has little/no say except for what supplier he chooses.

Rip off price, simply don't buy it or any other clubs depending on who you support.

I can imagine that 'technology' is going to make a huge difference to your average slightly overweight middle aged man, who's off to the match with his mates. 😂

Football should take a long hard look at itself.

But it won't of course. Too busy making people rich.

How do you think they'll be able to supply Fat Frank with all those expensive players?

The Russian owner just passes the cost to the fans, and they pay for it through the nose

posted on 9/7/20

Chelsea won't earn more if Nike put their prices up.

Shirt prices are silly, though. Especially for the kids sizes.
