Was thinking the same when I read that earlier.
He gets paid a lot of money, but isn`t the least bit professional. Plenty time for his stupid posts, but not for his own fitness. I am sure it wasn`t easy during lockdown, but seems the others managed.
Trouble is, if we decide he should go, we need to get 2 strikers in, instead of 1. In saying that, Bayo and Klimala only need to be as good as Griffiths to take his place. Still waiting there though.
"Minor indiscretion or time up"
If he knuckles down and does the fitness work and more and comes back rating to go.......minor indiscretion.
If he doesn't do the fitness work......GTF
On the plus side with 3 games against quality opposition in a short space of time it gives Lennon a chance to have a proper look at Bayo and anybody else with designs on playing with Eddie or doing the lone striker role.
I'm undecided on how its going to end up for LG
Maybe why we've allegedly offered for Shon Weissman?

Thing is, it`s not just one indiscretion, is it? He`s been given a lot of leeway and a lot of support from Celtic. Doesn`t seem capable of being professional.
Wolfsberger AC president Dietmar Riegler has revealed that an offer has come in from Celtic for prolific striker Shon Weissman.
He has scored an astonishing 37 goals in 40 games for Wolfsberger. https://t.co/6Lchfjjkhz
Posted this last night Silver, wouldn't be against it. I am not a Griff fan but perhaps lockdown had a bigger impact on him than most? The thing is though we need everyone up for 10IAY, perhaps Lenny isn't convinced he can rely on Griff?
I am more concerned about reports of Ajer to AC Milan, we are kinda light at CB. I would like to think we would be getting a quality CB in anyway without selling Ajer as it is
depends what they mean by fitness.
if he has some back a stone heavier, its unacceptable. every cvnt and their dug has been allowed out to jog, exercise etc and he's rich enough to keep a bike or treadmill at home.
We need him and his goals, as Bayo and Klimala are unproven.
He'll get the weight off and be back playing in the first team this year, then we can sell him at the end of the season.
Just been reading up on Weissman......37 goals in 40 games in any professional league is not to be derided.
Doubt we'll get him though unless we make a great sales pitch for 'pathway to England if he does well.......'

He was quick to post pics of his newly delivered exercise bike though there were more pics of his 'LG 9' printed floor mat. Suspect Tik Tok and Instagram got more use?
As of last May he's also on 9 penalty points. Not that Lenny is an angel in that respect but he's still the boss and doesn't live in Edinburgh.
Hmmm
The man has been open and had his life laid bare on his mental issues. Could be that he needs a strict regime imposed on him to get him to understand the benefits and his own responsibilities.
I wouldn’t be so quick to judge and would wait until he’s had some strict supervised training which he can now get properly.
In any event we should always be looking to better every position we have. His is no different in that respect.
Time up !
Tbf his time was up a while ago
Consistently letting Celtic down and this is a just another time to add to his list
Nobody should be surprised
We have Bayo , at least he doesn't let us down
He would never let us down .
Heard about this 2 weeks ago, had sent it on to a few of the boys.
Lennon’s furious with him and has said when they get back from France it he isn’t fit he will be punted.
Ely will play off Edouard in the 2 up top.
Oh well that’s that then
Man suffering from significant mental strain and issues.

I wonder if he used a car or bike to log his 5km times on Strava?

Yes, Mental Health matters.
Until it doesn't.
People who have mental health issues need a bit of help and support and access to services and if necessary treatment. I am 100% sure that given his wealth he can afford the best and as an employer I'm also sure that Celtic will at the very least have advised him how and what services to access.
What having mental health issues is not However is an excuse for continuous failure and being a bawbag.
It grinds my gears when it's used as an excuse especially repeatedly.
I don't know the full extent of his issues my understanding being gambling and alcohol addiction? While these are difficult problems to beat they are probably the ones with most established support available and the least stigma attached. The support is there if he wants it.

I just think some people are so affected that despite all the “help” on tap as it were; some just can’t manage and focus.
I’m just not wanting to be so quick to judge is all. I don’t think I’ve ever suffered anything like that other than work related stress in the past, so I’m not in a position to judge.

Mental Health is a very serious issue, I would hate to see someone 'playing' on it.
Harsh as it may sound but after a period of time and all support possible has been given then at some point you have to question someone's capability to do the job.
Mental health issues, even severe ones are not an excuse for not being able to do your job.
Of course for all we know Celtic have done feck all to support him but I doubt that.
AC Milan are ready to redouble their efforts to land Celtic defender Kristoffer Ajer.
The Serie A giants have already had an offer – believed to be in the region of around £13.5m – rejected for the Norwegian international.
However, Italian sources close to the club insist that was simply the opening gambit, and that Milan are not all discouraged from their pursuit of a player they have been tracking for the last two years.
They say Ajer’s admirers are prepared to pay up to 25 million euros (£22.4m) to get the 22-year-old.
It is also understood that the move will be pursued regardless of the identity of the club’s manager.
Stefano Pioli is currently in charge, but is tipped to be axed with his place set to be taken by German coach, Ralf Rangnick.
Most intriguingly, sources insist Milan are also ready to offer Celtic a variety of central defensive options to help sweeten the deal and help the Hoops cope with the loss of Ajer.
Among the names being talked about for permanent deals out of the San Siro are Italian Under-21 internationalist Matteo Gabbia (20) and the Argentinian Mateo Musacchio (29).
At the same time they are covering their options by also tracking a list of other highly-rated young central defenders.
Nikola Milenkovic (22) of Fiorentina, Tanguy Kouassi (18) of Bayern, and Luca Kilian (20) of German club Paderborn 07 are among those under consideration.
