Question to JA.
The wife’s aunt died last week. Not close or anything Family had been sent for from Oz, US and they got there in time for the last days, all good. They arranged a quick funeral so it would be just the 8 mourners and not next week’s 20 (?) so they didn’t have the difficult decision of who gets invites.
Anyway, the point is they videod the crematorium ceremony and have been sending it out. My first thought was that is appalling - these things are bad enough to endure but you do it for the bereaved and family - seems a bit ghoulish to watch a video of it after the event? Who would want to watch a funeral?
Am I abnormal?
Don’t answer that! I know I am but do old people, or anyone that misses out really want to watch a grieving family?
Personally think it's wrong but for those that can't be there it might be some solace.
Would never want it for myself though.
Doubt I would want to watch if it was family
But I kind of get why some might
Good friend, see the send off, raise a glass
Na Silver, that's mental.
No way would I be watching a funeral and be robbed out of a steak pie and a swally.

I think I older people have a bit of a different view on their mortality
They have more acceptance of death of it come after 'a good innings '
A celebration if laced with sadness
I remember vividly my first funeral old grandpa
I saw these old guys drinking and laughing in one part of the room and poor grandma breaking her heart in another
Couldnt get my head round it at the time
So I now understand the celebratory aspect
So a recording might be for some
Leicester humped again!
BR bubble burst?
I would add
I was in Australia when my grandmother died so missed the funeral
If their was a recording I would want to watch it
Just out of respect
"Leicester humped again"
They've fvcked it up big time since the restart. Inevitable that Man Yoo will oust them from a CL spot given their form. Amazing the difference one player has made to their team.
I expect Man City will get their CL ban overturned tomorrow.

I would watch it
Not my proudest w@nk but I'm running out of material
Well...........It was the only way that I got to see my Mum's funeral in early April, so a good thing in my opinion...broadcast as it happened, not days later, but it also meant the family all over the world were able to watch and listen to the eulogy which was nice..
Schiz didn't know that mate.

See; we often never think on things like this unless it directly affects us.
I hope it brought some comfort schiz
First time I’ve taken a train since this whole sorry episode began.
Needless to say every single one on the long list are stated as being “on time”. Don’t think I’ve ever seen that before.
Now of only we could remove all the passengers altogether we could have this more often

You been listening to my Mrs all the way to the station this morning
I’ve no problem with it but fwck me I wonder why most bother as they mainly wear it below the nose or with their visor lifted up.
And that includes every single station worker I met on the way in who were checking that any passengers were complying.
