Guns are a weird one. I would never want them in my country but at the same time I'm happy there is at least one country out there with a 2nd amendment. Just in case their government went all tyrannical, I would like to see how they would enforce a police state. I've seen lazy arguments like they would just nuke their population, but a police state needs living people to control and take advantage of. A police state is no good if all their citizens are dead, so the state would be forced to use lesser weapons in combat with civilians.

So for that reason I’m not prepared to engage with someone using something like that as a trivial opportunity to point score on a football forum.
