Cant believe you fecked this up

We needed rotation and it was bound to catch up.i had a feeling we'll mess up. Still, we have to win all our remaining games.

We need to control games better and keep possession when we need to. We are still poor at this.

yep, worryingly knackered. just 72 hours to get our @rses down to south london too.

i see what op means but ole had 2 options stick to players that looked knackered or bring on players that were fully rested. When you bring on McT and fred you cannot them to continue to do what pogbba and fernandes were doing.

the fact we have tried so hard to not rotate speaks volume. Beyond the first 11 we seriously lack quality and I think even ole knows it now.

Our defence has been good. But it's top 6 good, not top 3 good.

Since the restart anytime we are under pressure we concede. We've controlled games but just like with City, the cracks appear when teams go all out attack on us and press us high up the pitch.

Maguire has cost us a few goals and Lindelof tried hard but lacks quality. What was he doing on the line there?

The Matic/Maguire/Lindeloff combo is so slow and cumbersome that it forces us to play deeper than we want.

maguire is setting off as we speak, he should have turned in the right direction by midnight

I think the idea was to be tighter. Expecting Southampton to come forward and then to finish them off on the break. But the passing to set up the counter was consistently poor. Then once we went down to 10 we abandoned that completely and attempted to shut up shop.

I thinks that’s just how the game went. Southampton presses well, they’re a tough team to play against and they had nothing to lose.
