Kalvin Philip's out

Gutted for the lad. Expect to see a line up similar to earlier in the season, Ayling, Bera, Cooper, Dallas, White, Klich, Costa, Harrison, Roberts, Bamford. Am expecting Kiko to return but would surprise me if he doesn't.
Other option is that Dallas steps in for Kalvin and Alioski starts at Left Back.
Not too concerned

Its unhelpful as KP has proved to be the best defensive Mid outside the top flight but we did ok when he was missing and with mentality of the team at the moment I see no issue.

Kiko can stay on the bench Meslier has done fine and Kiko is not match fit and will be even more prone to the odd clanger.

Fook. Awful news.

Gutted for him. But sh. 1. te does this make things
more difficult to achieve. Ben White's a fantastic
player, but he hasn't really enjoyed playing the KP
role as much as he does his regular spot. If only
we had Captain Glass Forshaw. Dammit.

Looking for a hero's run in from Berra.

On the Kiko back or retain Meslier?

That's like asking if you'd prefer
a chocolate or paper fireguard.

Bats, totally agree ref White and KP's role, ideally suited, but just didn;t work that way.

Also, don't want to take him out of centre back role, him and coops are doing really well together.

this opinion has formed because of the last time we tried White there, I was all for it on paper, but not sure it worked!

Please god, Bielsa wouldn't seriously consider Kiko would he? Surely Kiko's not even going to be here next season. If the guy goes to pieces against the teams in this division, he's going to be a laughing stock in the Prem League.

Ref Kiko, think he's good on his day to be fair, excellent football player for a keeper.

just when he's rattled, he's really rattled, and costly

Not worried about covering the Philips position – Ben White has done this several times. It took him a couple of matches to adapt but really got to grips with it.

Bielsa has said that Ben white will play in midfield

im most worried that he didnt say that meslier would keep the gloves

surely cant stick casilla in goal now.

will be utterly gobsmacked if he puts casilla back in goal.

Bielsa has said that Ben white will play in midfield

--------------------

urgh, I didn't know he'd confimred it.. again, before we first tried it, I was all for it - I've done a huge U-turn on it and hate the idea of breaking White and Coops up

posted on 14/7/20

this is though KP's role requires good footballing abilty, as well as good tackling, I guess White is the best qualified... urgh

4 fuccccccking points

posted on 14/7/20

Its just 4 points and we play the bottom team at home. We'll be fine. We are lucky we didn't lose KP earlier in the season.

I think this'll be harder to take for Phillips than anyone here, but I think Bielsa knows what has to be done!..

All we can do is wish Kal all the best and be happy he'll be if/when it gets that far be able to celebrate with his team mates!..

All the best Kal and come on Leeds!.

And Meslier!.

Better not drop Meslier for Kiko!

Not worries about KP being out at this stage.

Bielsa is famous for not changing the team unless he has to so I sincerely hope Kiko is not seen again

I cant imagine how kiko can start after so long not playing. Even taking aside the distraction of bringing in a player banned for racism in the current climate.

For the sake of the side he needs to be sidelined.

Surely white goes into the Phillips role and berardi starts.

I have no issue with that at all.

We might not even need 4 points if preston can do us a favour and knock some points of brentford.

Preston are still in with a shout at the play off's!..

And its been shown again and again anything can happen in this league!..

if they are significant wins yes. 1-0 both ways wont be enough of a goal difference to relax. ideally we want a fulham 4 goal win tonight
