I get why Klopp didn't want him now.

He's definitely good but not WC

Yes because stats tells you everything 🤦‍♂️. A top striker that can barely create a chance to score on his own let alone bag a goal against top opposition. The bar for you is very low I guess 😂

We measure strikers on goals. It's an important indication of course.

There is more about a good striker though.

Yeah, stats like goals and points are meaningless. It is all about link up play.

Your name is complete opposite of what you really are. Saying Aubameyang isn't world class is not logical.

Very few strikers in the league make it to 20 league goals in a season. He is one of them who is doing it season after season. Of course he is world class.

Not his biggest fan but it doesn’t help him that his time at the club had coincided with playing alongside some truly appalling teammates. In that regard, he’s done well to tally the goal totals he has. Still, don’t think he’s frustratingly fairweather.

Well I say you're pretty delusional if you think world class strikers are that weak and pathetic in big games, and you speak of logic 🤣🤣

Thank you, someone who actually knows the game!

I do agree to some extent with the article, ultimately he’s judged on goals. You’d say someone who doesn’t watch our games will just go by his record and say yeh it’s an impressive record which it is we can’t deny that. However, I don’t think he gives enough during games with regards to work rate, he’s not aggressive enough, wimps out of challenges at times, doesn’t chase after lose balls, shrugs his shoulders and looks dis interested. He will be anonymous for 70 mins but then scores a tap in. Without his goals though we’d be in a relegation scrap but I understand why he gets criticised sometimes.

I get the feeling you're new to football 🤣, if you think tap ins against weak teams and being weak in big games makes you top striker, then you have lots to learn. Have you heard of Henry, guy with a statue outside the Emirates? That was world class 👍

I have been saying a lot of what the op says.

Very clinical against the lesser teams but more often than not he goes missing against the big teams.

He is a very good goal scorer but he is not a game changer.

Another big game on Saturday, anyone got any confidence in Auba delivering against City?

Yes we would be struggling without his goals but we haven't exactly moving forward as a club since signing him.

Players like mane, salah, Aguero etc for me are the real elite. They are game changers and perform against small or big teams.

Don't get me wrong Auba has great movement around the box but he is so poor in other departments of the game

posted on 14/7/20

Just look at someone like Giroud. He had far more of an impact than Auba in big games

Thats too much common sense for them to handle bro

If we're saying Aubameyang is world class then we're saying Lukaku is

And we all know Lukaku isn't
