I won't watch it but I found the comparisons ridiculous during lockdown

Morelos to huge credit doing a lot of volunteering at home. Bears then saying "what are Celtic players doing?"

It was faux outrage as we were locked down.

Any footballer doimg good and remembering their roots should be praised and have it highlighted as I feel it helps bring good attention to the causes

He’s clearly a very decent human being off the park, does some fantastic work.

B@wbag and a let down on it for his club though.

the video isnt really specific about lockdown, more his background and journey.

Well done to him for the sacrifices he’s made to have a career, and also for the work he does back home.

If only folk would get it right that it’s Colombia he’s from.

Well done Alfie

A lot of football ‘stars’ have done absolutely feck all to help others but a number have shown real qualities in their make-up - Alfie should be applauded for the work he is doing

He's further on to being a priest than a footballer,, I'd
smugly suggest. According to the press Colombia 🇨🇴 should be be just about saved now, well done Alfie.

I'm in two minds on this.

The OP praises his character so i think its fair to question it if appropriate.

However i think its dangerous to have footballers as role models. The vast majority aren't and will let you down at some point. Best just to watch them on the pitch and ignore them the rest of the time unless they're complete erses.

Also best just to ignore Timmy

Timmy the individual poster or Timmy the collective noun ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Timmy the individual all the time
Timmy the collective 90% of the time.

Works for me
