Don't see WBA losing any more points unfortunately. Would love for Brentford to finish second.
If Derby did this, would it be a step too far for the Leeds players to wear binoculars around their necks as they walked out ??
I agree. Teams should give a guard of honour to the champions. It’s the right thing to do.
Liverpool were champions. We would be confirmed to go up, but would still need another point to be champions.
Oops we have a statto right here.
Strett and Maths, like chalk and cheese.
Take the summer of ya numphy.
Let’s concentrate on beating Barnsley first.
I tell you what, no beef with Derby really but I would love it if we won the league at Derby and whole team did the spygate eyes back at them, love it

It will be funny if we win promotion at their place after last year but let's leave it at that. This should be about us.
That's the nature of football. It's cyclical. Leeds fans should know that! Derby fans certainly do. Savour your days of glory, because a day of disaster is surely just around the corner.
If Leeds go up as they surely will, then congratulations, it's deserved. The win at Elland Road last season won't be any less sweet in the memory, it was a wonderful night to be a Derby fan.

I'm looking at 9pts, but I'm very rarely right!.
So 4 or if our luck changes 5 will do!.
Is a guard of honour the usual thing for promoted teams or is it only for the Prem Champions or is there a history of this at all?
It would be a usual thing for the champions of any league, but not for other promoted teams. I can remember Carlisle United (!) lining up in 1975 for our final home game. I seem to remember the same happening when we won the old second division in 1969 but I may be wrong about that.

Fell for the oldest trick in book, celebrating winning a semi final
Well, at least that's better than celebrating winning the first leg of a two-legged semi-final!
Looks like the Dirties have got the job done. 6 points clear with 2 games to go ... not even they can manage to stuff that up.
So, to answer the question... if WBA fail to pick up 3 points on Friday, Leeds will come to us as champions so yes, we should give them a guard of honour.
Before, of course, putting them to the sword.
They aren't confirmed champions yet, so no.
Well done to Leeds (at last)
Life comes at you pretty quick.
Who’d have thought this after last season??

God it makes me sick, how the hell did West Brom and now Brentford lose to rubbish teams? Hope we beat the filthy gits tomorrow.
