though i would fear that, after the sanchez debacle, and DDG's outrageous pay rise, we're going to be dragged over the coals on this one aren't we?

but for me our front 5 are our key players for the next 2-4 years, and he's the only one who hasn't signed a new contract in the past 18 months, so important to sort that out asap.

Wouldn't be difficult, any slanderous media work by Raiola means fines, disciplinary etc. Doubt Pogba would go for that though.

yes.

ordinarily i'd sell any player who won't sign a new contract with 2- 2 1/2 years left, but given the oddities of this summer - covid depression, a month or so between the end of the european tournaments and the PL returning, and the need for us to attract big new signings and kick on from 7 years of mediocrity - even i could bend my rules a little.

Best midfielder in the world at the moment if he stays. An overrated second coming of Djemba Djemba or Darron Gibson (pc gone mad I know but it's in my contract now) if he stays. I rarely watch him play.

I’m here, don’t worry. I was having an argument about how many pies shaw eats, and whether we could divert some of Sanchez’s wage to pay for it, using giggs as a fund manager.

Should be grateful he’s going to sign another contract, it will save you buying a season ticket to his new club to watch every one of his games

If he keeps this form he’s shown up recently then I’m all for it..
