A bit Indifferent.

And by the way, lamenting the fact that I think Wolves are building more sustainably than us, doesn’t make me any less a Leicester fan than anyone else. Just means I want that for our club. I don’t want boom and bust - I want us to grow towards being a permanent top 6 club. I get frustrated when we go through these cycles of either brilliant or absolutely awful.

And the tw@t that calls himself a Leicester fan by the way has a string of mental health issues, suicide attempts, is in therapy for previous child abuse and struggles daily to get through.

Yep you wouldn’t know that cos I don’t choose to post a daily diary of all my problems - and yes I don’t help myself at all by attacking and wumming others - but, when you create an article specifically designed to attack others, it’s something you might want to think about.

Perhaps if I had a physical ailment and talked about it a lot I’d get a lot more empathy - but that’s the stigma of mental health for you

I get it BS, and I emotionally I’m on the same page. That Bournemouth capitulation made a part of me give up. We looked done.

What tonight showed is that mine, and probably your reaction was a bit extreme. It hurt a lot and we catastrophised and feared the worst. We’ve seen it before and naturally worry.

But what tonight showed is that when deployed correctly, with the right tactics and confidence, things aren’t quite that bad yet. Or at least I hope not.

European football will be tough on our squad next year. We will need to build correctly in the coming weeks. We have to get the transfer window right! We must! If we do, Rodgers can hopefully build on what we have and challenge for the top 6 next year.

However, I still feel things are balanced on a knife edge and it could go badly wrong.

What I disagree with you on is the running of our club. Personally I think it’s brilliant. I like the strategy, the leadership and the investment. Sustainable, steady and making investments that pay back. Selling the odd star for inflated fees and investing that cash in assets that grow in value in the main.

I like the way our club is run and I don’t think Wolves have much on us. They just have some amazing players right now, but if 2-3 of them leave this summer let’s see where they are next year.

So yes, I still feel numb and my confidence hasn’t returned. But I maybe have more of a balanced view on next season. I still fear the worst but I have a glimmer of hope.

I know it’s hard BS, but try not to take other peoples posts personally. People express opinions on this site and struggle when people disagree with them. But the fact that is the case makes this site interesting and enjoyable.

I often have a different view to others, but I try my best not to react when people attack my opinions. My opinions aren’t me, just how I see the world.

I understand mental health and suffer myself, not to the significant level of you by your comment, but I understand your struggles. This is why I hope you can appreciate others are only defending their own options rather than attacking you.

Keep posting mate. I personally enjoy your emotion as I often react in a similar way.

When I talk about the running of the club Mersey, I don’t mean the vision or even the policy of investing in youth, cashing in and then developing fresh young talent. I mean the other areas - the ones that have led us to be such a boom and bust club since our promotion to the PL.

I’m talking about Rudkin in his position, the wayward managerial decisions, the merry go round of sackings since Ranieri, the hiring of duds like Puel, the expensive flops, the mentality of the players and the dressing room (reportedly a problem since Pearson left) and the failure to add strength in depth.

No club can be perfect but I have concerns over the people running the footballing decisions at the club - it’s the footballing decisions that have been inconsistent and led us to this all or nothing scenario. Remember Wolves are only 2 seasons in and look to be sustainably improving year on year without sacking managers every 5 mins

Thanks mate that really is appreciated. You’re right, I’ve always had an issue with differing opinions and shouldn’t take that personally which then causes me to respond in kind etc. You’re posts are genuinely fantastic - usually very balanced and you never lay into anyone which is to your credit!

BS - I knew there were things in your life that were tough for you, but that goes beyond what I ever thought. Sorry you have to go through the fight mate, but keep fighting.

I really appreciate that Dunge and let me be clear, that’s no excuse for my behaviour on this site towards others - but it does explain why my reactions, particularly to defeats, are so over the top and my posts are so overwhelmingly negative. I get the accusation of not being a proper Leicester fan a lot - but it’s not that at all, it’s just a struggle to cope when something unexpected or bad happens. You basically just completely overreact, happens all the time with fairly trivial things in my life.

Appreciate your post though mate - honestly not trying to garner sympathy but just explain that it isn’t anti Leicester - it’s anti life sometimes!

Surely Christmas to July was the bust with that relegation form. Just need to hold your nerve, win the next game and draw the last one.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Absolutely yes. We could still do it, but that’s the bust I’m talking about, common theme with Leicester really and has been a theme for several years.

Rodgers is already in PR spin mode, I think he knows it’s over so is declaring it as an incredible achievement, but even he knows what an opportunity missed it was

Is a point against Manchester City a good point. Yes.

Is it a good point if you were 3-0 up at half time and threw it away. No.

That sums up our season. Should be good, but isn’t.

However, if we by some minor miracle we pick up two good results from our last 2 games, Steve Walsh will have just equalised against arsenal in the 7th minute of injury time.

This is football. It’s why we love it and despair in equal measure.

What? When did I say that? I actually think we could get relegated NEXT season. I was being sarcastic about Rodgers interview
