Morning Stevie Dee - I agree, the sooner that one tiny but also very precious golden point comes the better.

Think a lot of tickers were well and truly put through the mangle last night.

I’m still stunned by the game last night. I can’t work our how we won but very pleased we did.

Need to re-evaluate exactly who should play where and tidy everything up so that we are on song for Sunday. Some of the regulars looked tired (understandably) and it was nice to see fresh players do well.

Yes, credit to the owner etc. but the players must be incredibly well drilled to win ugly like they did last night. Would be great to promoted before Wednesday.

Agreed, the players deserve huge credit.

Even though we didn’t well at all

We still had better chances than them

Huge credit to Bielsa for this, and the players, and AR.

In hindsight, the game is no surprise. At 1 nil, we had everything to lose and they had nothing to lose. So the runs forward we normally make and playing under pressure suddenly become a lot more risky and players go for the safer option. Barnsley had about 4 strikers on at one point, which never would happen in a normal game.

I think Bielsa maybe learnt a bit from last season. Wigan we were 1 nil up and caught out on the counter attack twice to lose it. Derby we were 2 nil and caught out with a high line. I always think back to that Forest game with 10 men when we kept attacking and attacking and ended up losing 4-2.

Job done, I'm hoping it's concluded before Sunday though as that was too tense

We didn't play well but we stuck to our task. We're more resolute these days.

I was a nervous wreck for the last ten minutes..... If we can avoid that for the Derby game I'll be healthier for it!!

They had everything to lose. That loss effectively relegated them

Yes indeedy ... 1 in 6 is all we need now ... we need a maximum of 1 point out of the 6 that remain ... and we've got 6 chances to get promoted ... surely even we can't feck up a 1 in 6 chance๐Ÿ™ƒ๐Ÿ†

Pretty sure this doesn't make sense. Will try to figure out why.

Something like, we are promoted if we either beat or draw with Derby or beat or draw with Charlton or West Brom draw or lose to Huddersfield or draw or lose to QPR or Brentford draw or lose to Stoke or draw or lose to Barnsley.
Odds stacked in our favour.

I wouldn't make any party plans for tonight. Ain't a cat in hells chance we will get anything off West Brom. I reckon we've reached our points total already.

Sure a lot of Barnsley finds had the same mindset pre last nights fixture.

Granted they came away with nothing but they must be mystified how they didn't come away with something - I am.

Have you watched us recently?!

I hope you're all celebrating tonight as it will mean we are safe, but I reckon you'll have all turned the TV off and kicked the cat before the half time whistle goes.

Never actually thought of it that way.

when was the last time we lost 2 in a row?

Champers, given your comment, do you think you will have enough points to stay up? It’s very tight, Charlton vs Wigan tomorrow is a big game as is Hull vs Luton.

Rest everyone against Derby if other results go against us, see if we can grab a point and have a cup final v Charlton

Can’t see that happening but I would def play Roberts 90 mins, Poveda, Shackleton, Douglas and Berardi

Some of our guys need a rest badly
