Lovely article. Congratulations on the promotion.

I still speak to Fred’s daughter now. I remember giving the flag I took on our last promotion day to give to her at funeral. Sad day.

Did Boggers post on Not ? Bumped into Harj a couple of times. OP might have been seen in O'Neils Euston Rd and Whitelocks who knows.

Yes he moved to Not606 instead of JA. I used to have numerous arguments with him over the years but I had met him at games and it’s sad that he’s not here to celebrate. We all have our differences but we All had the one shared goal; to get to the PL.
WE’VE DONE IT!

Lovely article. Well done
16 years out of the premier league, and living in the jungle. Seriously, you guys must be over the moon, and though 2020 will be remembered for all the bad things that has happened, I feel for you guys, it's a mixed feelings.
Like I previously said, good to see you back. My only hurt is that Norwich had to make way for that to happen.
I love Norwich and their philosophy of football and wish them a swift return to the PL.
Brilliant post. Sixteen years of hurt in many ways. Lost my best mate last year, he was a Forest fan, but got him up to Elland Road many times especially in Wilko’s era. I like to think he’s up there fuming now!
Great article!
I’ve not personally lost any Leeds mates but do remember chatting with Harj on here a few times.
My eldest brother, Ivan, passed away five years ago. He was a football player rather than a fan and was wanted by Bradford Park Avenue in his heyday. My dad wanted him to have a trade though - so he became a draughtsman and played amateur for Yorkshire Amateurs. He was twenty years my senior and gave me a few pointers as well, when I played.
He also spent lots of time with my kids giving them coaching and watching them play and I still remember him turning up in all weathers to watch Adam, our youngest at TA and Bramall Lane. I miss him immensely.
So Weds night I’ll be watching and having a beer for Ivan and all those we have lost since we went down.
ALAW.
On the day of Big Jack's funeral, thought I would mention a youtube cameo with Jack, Billy Bremner and John Charles....it was a tribute prog for Jack....
Billy spoke about Jack and he was in great form with some stories.
John, the gentle giant, spoke of Jack's dribbling forays from centre half, he would beat 5 or 6 players then lose the ball...the other team would break upfield and score, Jack would then blame someone else for the goal!
On personal note I well remember Jack's dribbling adventures, quite funny at times, with his gangly legs all over the place. Three great footballers now sadly gone, part of the Leeds legends story!
