Not sure that is strictly true. It was ok for the first three games?

Still felt like a false dawn, hate to say but no disappointment not having to go through the playoff route.

We'd have suffered big style, it's all about the Autos next season.

Johnson was talking about lifting social distancing rules in November which means next season will start without fans. Can't see how clubs are going to survive without a wealthy owner and relaxing FFP rules.

Think it's already done and dusted. CM will be somewhere else next season. Did you notice the lack of celbration after he scored against Leeds. Looked like a player not in love with the club.

Has to be one of the 'usual suspects'.

I did and he's looked a frustrated figure recently, most of his teammates not on the same wavelength.
If he thinks about some of them in the same way as Jamie Ward was expressing on yesterdays Moan-In, you could see why he might want away.

He hasn't been for a long time.

He scored an equalising penalty against Brighton 2-2, cupped his ears at the south stand and I posted back then he'd had enough of us.

Add on all the loans I'd hardly be motivated.

Hmmm...re CM - I understand he's the highest paid player at DCFC. I wonder if he can get the same kind of money elsewhere. No sign of Huddlestone signing for anyone else yet and by the fact that he didn't sign an extension to his contract as CM did - I don't expect he'll return. Football as we know is a business and Championship downwards will struggle to survive if this lockdown lasts any longer.
Agree CM's muted celebration on Sunday suggests he's off though. We've looked jaded as a team in recent times but we should surely have enough in our locker to avoid defeat tonight....

I expect defeat again. The impetus has gone and Brum are only 2 points from safety so will be going all out. I thought the season should have been written off as the one that never happened but actually the football has been better than I expected. Anyone nervous about the fact we could end up fewer than 12 points clear?

Re CM, I have never bought into the “body language” malarkey. Are we really saying we can read the mind of a player by the intensity of a goal celebration? As with Huddz it seems we are now paring back on wages and not before time. I would like him to stay but I don’t think he is ideal to Cocu’s style so the club can’t pay top dollar to what might be a bit-part player.

I think Martin's biggest beef is he wants a two year deal and Derby are only offering one.
