Strangely I think we will win. This is the longest we have gone without a win all season so I think the boys will want to go out on a high.

I think that the team have just run out of steam. performances were tailing off before the lock down.

It would be a shocking turn-around not to finish in the top six, but hey anything is possible in the Championship.

Can't see us beating one of West Brom' Fulham or Brentford over two legs unfortunately so more disappointment to come.

If Sabri can get Samba, Cash & Lolley fit and playing like we did earlier against Leeds & Fulham, then he's a genius in the Clough mould.

I don't think we will win tonight; we have just run out of steam; I think we will squeeze through.

If we do hopefully Lolley and Cash will be fit and fresh for the playoffs.

Tonight I would like to see Bostock and Mighten start to give us some fresh legs. Also Sabri should be brave and tell whoever the four attacking players are to stay a bit higher up the pitch and take them on when we are in possession.

Forest to score first and then enter the game mis-management phase and just squeeze through 1-2 or 2-2

I feel like Barnsley was a failed experiment. Sabri has before played three at the back to hold a lead with 10-20 left. Maybe he wanted to see if, say if we win our first leg, if the team could set out the stalls for a whole 90+ and hold firm.... and we can’t.

I think we’ll draw tonight. Nothing spectacular.

Then when even the fans have lost hope, sabri is going to get us to Wembley with two 0-0 draws and a penalty shoot out.

Believe!

Penalty shootout ? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Even our number one penalty taker doesn't have a great record from the spot.

But we're getting ahead of ourselves.

Pleeeease no peno shoot out!

I doubt Sabri's smash and grab tactics will work over two legs in the play-offs (if Forest get there). WB, Brentford and Fulham have too many attacking options and I doubt we will get anywhere with the familiar grinding tactics and the hope that Lolley, Sameobi or Grabbs will come up with something special. I like Sabri, but he's going to waste a chance. albeit slim, to gain promotion unless he can adapt our playing style. Fingers crossed though.

Be realistic guys.

If we’re going to Wembley it’s through a penalty shootout.

If we’re going to win a Wembley.....
...it’s going to be through a penalty shootout.

We could have put to bed any worries about falling through the play offs trap door weeks ago, but because Forest are Forest, as with everything, its gone down to the wire. We are absolutely doing this the hard way.

Might as well make peace with it now

Knowing us we it will be still in the balance until the last kick tonight, almost guaranteed, we never do anything the easy way.😡

Playoffs will be won by the strongest, fittest squad which for me is Fulham (or WBA). But it would still be nice to get there after the season we've had. Heading in the right direction.

OK, we'll know the starting eleven in a few minutes. I'd be amazed if we didn't return to the tried and tested 4-2-3-1. Lots of choices to be made by the head coach after Sunday. Smith did OK on Sunday, star man in fact so I expect him to play again rather than risk Samba.

Could be changes in the back four. It looked like all the games have caught up with Jenks, and Figs looked a bit erratic and a red card waiting to happen. For me it would be

Darikwa Dawson Worrall Ribs

Watson and Bostock DMs. Sow like Jenks has had too many games after a long spell out the team.

Lolley Yates Ameobi

Grabban

If Lolley can't make the start go with Mighten

Full strength, Lolley and Cash start.

Cash a surprise for me given he wasn't on the bench on Sunday.

So we're set up for a draw then.

Well full strength apart from goal where Smith keeps his place. - Quite right

Evening all.

Let's face it, we really missed Lolley and Cash at the weekend. Those two on the right are pretty much unplayable.

And not only that, it frees up Sammy Ameobi to roam behind Lewis.

I don't usually do predictions and I don't intend to start tonight.

Cant see us losing by two (or more) cant see Swansea winning by three (or more).

Smith remains in goal. Brice needs someone competing for his position. Touch of complacency of late.

I've always liked Smith. Confident he won't let us down

Sam Vokes the threat tonight. Thought Dawson might have kept his place to counter his threat.

Why would you say that Red? Don’t bloody tempt it!

Great to see Cash and Lolley but clearly playing defensive without Silva. We are relying on Lolley and Ameobi to create something and then have a wall of DMs. Bar the first 45 v Derby, I think Sow has been poor since restart. He needs to find his form
