Last time Fawad played a Test, none of the other 10 in Pakistan’s playing X1 had made their Test debuts... only Pakistan.

Actually the metoffice is contradicting Apple weather. I think I’d go with met office saying it will rain roughly around 3pm

I'd be surprised if we see enough play to get through both teams' first innings in the whole test to be honest. Forecast looks pretty apocalyptic for the next week.

Hopefully field first - there will be so many rain delays that it will be disruptive to the bats' rhythm with all the stopping and starting

Interruptions massively favouring England. Bowl half a dozen overs, take a wicket or two, then go off for a rest, come back, and repeat the cycle.

3-0 whitewash drubbing by England. I think we have never been subjected to such drubbing before in England. Need to test new faces in up coming series and build team for long run

At start of series, I favoured Pakistan because we have historically done well here other than shenanigans in 2010 and England' s batting is not as strong as before plus their world class bowlers are at wrong age. But our batting is not at par with international level and need drastic improvement

BBC now predicting we should get a full day's play today, so I expect the wash-out to be announced at 2pm
