Fantastic - a 22nd consecutive season irrevocably lodged in the upper colon of English football. Amongst Forest's multiple malignancies, the fact that not a single manager since the great one was shuffled off into retirement has had any success after leaving the club may be the most telling.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Notts Forest - nothing before Clough, nothing since Clough.

West Brom also bottled it of course. Only three points from their last four games. The only thing that saved them was that Brentford bottled it even more at the death. But it's an insult to Forest to suggest that any other team surpasses their bottling achievements. 3 points from the last six games including three goals conceded deep into injury time. That's some top quality bottling that is.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I take it back. Forest are the king of the bottlers!

COME ON BRENTFORD!!!
Anyway, back to our job, we need a point - focus, discipline, passion and let’s get the job done - our destiny is in our hands

So easy to come on our boards but if all your comments are true then what does it mean that you finished so far behind. Let's not forget you had a few wins post lockdown and through you were going on a run to the play offs. Then you bottled it as well. Bricks and glass houses my friends.

It's not like you are up Boris backside these days.

I'll contact admin if you would like a board closed to comments, I know pain, we've suffered as well.
But that was special, I'd be surprised if anyone got out of bed today.
I'd have a pillow of brick if I was them.
Playoffs not all that great anyway, you get a semi and fail but the hard loss is the final and maybe it's better now than then because for the neutral and Rams fans never would we have imagined a failure of this magnitude.
For that we salute you

Is that to me Igor, not sure who you’re referring to?
I can take it all, the comments and wumming really doesn't bother me to be honest - if you read some of my comments before the kickoff, I almost predicted Forest doing a ‘Forest’
But even by our standards, that was pretty spectacular
As I say, I’m not in the least surprised, this has happened, our manager was going to get found out sooner or later, it’s just the very last match of the season for it to happen is pretty special
You’ll enjoy this for weeks and months to come - who knows, it may almost become as famous as your wonderful 11 points
I also think Chris Hughton would be a great shout 🤡
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You're a wise man Rev.
Marinakis needs to send some of his gorillas down to Bristol in a windowless van pronto.
Hughton would be the one I would want if I were you. John Percy seems to be suggesting you will stick with the Frenchman though which is of course good news for us. Plenty more opportunities for amusement. It ain’t ever dull! It’s a thin line. Forest controlled the game at Derby very comfortably but blew it at the end. Lamouchi has been unlucky but he invites bad luck by his tactics.

3 things:
a) 'boing boing' has nothing to do with yo yoing
b) last time we were in the Prem we were there for 8 years/seasons
c) Forest would give their eye teeth to be a yo yo team
For what it's worth, I think Forest are in a good position to build on this season. I rate your manager and you've got the makings of a decent squad.
Most teams who get promoted are either teams with parachute payments (like us) or teams who have built over a couple of seasons (like Brentford).
Keep your squad together, get some good quality loans and you'll be there or thereabouts next season!
