Interestingly, Liverpool manager Klopp was asked to comment on Salah's future at the club back in February 2020.
In a press conference, the German provided a very similar response, saying he'd like the forward to stay, but ultimately, he doesn't know if he will.
Klopp said: "I would think so [he'll stay at Liverpool], did you hear something different? How can you see the hunger to stay at Liverpool?
"It looks to me like he is really settled to be honest.

Wouldn’t overly surprise me if he was tbh. Won the league and CL with us, 28 years old - if he’s thinking about a new challenge then now would arguably make sense. Also, although he’s out top earner he could almost certainly earn more elsewhere.
Whether anyone has the money to take him right now is another question entirely though.

Salah’s been eyeing a move to Madrid pretty much all his career.
He’s done OK while he’s been here for us so it’s all good OP.
He may leave but there is absolutely nothing you can take from his and klopps comments in the last year that can be used as proof he wants to go.
Obviously, most players and managers don't publicly state they want to leave even if it is the case. Transfer windows are just awful
