KTF1 - that is the point I was making with a solid experienced midfielder. What I would say is we don’t need to throw the baby out with the bath water.

Continue to bring through youth. Sprinkle with moderate experience from abroad like Pereira, and then have 1-3 really experienced heads like Evans but in midfield and up top.

Reasonable suggestions as to the types of players that could do this.

Some good responses folks. Keep up the positivity.

Are we seriously linked with anyone at the minute?

I’d probably want us linked with players like:
Tarkowski
Ings
Dunk
McGinn
Cantwell
I think Norwood could do a job also
And although he’s had a poor season (head turned) - Fraser.
Possibly Hojbjerg
Perhaps Sarr as a punt

We aren’t really ready to go challenge for really top class PL players , but we are in a position to challenge for good players who are ready to go at PL level.

I agree with those, Deeney to me fits in as a good back up for Vardy and a plan b, the kind of player Slow could have been if he was any good

Not heard anything about Deeney’s attitude so can’t comment on that.

Yes, he has displayed a bad attitude in the past. I don’t mind him so much now but I had no time for him at one point.

Some Good Suggestions on RL Leicester tonight, mainly from the Relegated Clubs who all have some decent Players.

Ings ( Doubtful we could get him ?

James ward Prowse

David Brooks

Callum Wilson

Ake

Max Aarons ( Norwich )

Sarr ( Watford )

Werte all mentioned including Deeney who they felt it was too late in his career, tbh that's why I think he could be a good choice.

I heard James Ward Prowse only signed a new deal at Southampton yesterday. Can’t see them letting Ings go either but it would be interesting to see Ings and Vardy as a front two. Or Vardy and Callum Wilson.

Ings would be awesome. Hes only 28

I think David Brooks would interest me most out of those.

(I mean, absolutely zero chance of getting Ings. Whoever suggested that is nuts.)

Cost would be a Major issue, how much would you value Ings at if we're after £50 million plus for Chilwell

I believe Rodgers has said that we won't spend over £60 million for any one player.

Surely he's also on everyone's radar as well, would he choose Leicester?

Todd Cantwell from Norwich could be decent. Still only 22 as well.
