Looks like JWP is about to sign a new deal at Southampton.... Shame.... Would have loved him and Højbjerg as an u/g on Winks & Sissoko

I find JWP quite overrated actually. Pretty inconsistent, and doesn't score or assist that much considering what we get told about his delivery.

Me??? I don't. I was pleased with the potential from what we saw at the start but he's been a big disappointment so far. Would still give him time though.

OK.. Sorry mate... I just find some Spurs fans funny. They love to look down their noses at players from other clubs yet bang on about NDombele and GLC who cost the best part of 100 mln quid and have done absolutely nothing to justify the hype/ cost

There must be a reason we spent all that money on Ndombele and he was an in demand player at the time. We've seen brief moments of quality from him but not enough, and it's worth giving him the second season to see what he can do.
JWP I just don't see as having much potential.

You never know what happened behind the scenes, on a few podcasts i've listened to players have said Howe is a strange character, friendly with his favourites and if your not in that group you don't exist.

You never know what happened behind the scenes, on a few podcasts i've listened to players have said Howe is a strange character, friendly with his favourites and if your not in that group you don't exist.
That came from Defoe.

I remember seeing some Bournemouth training video pre-season and Howe kept referring to Fraser as "wee man". That might seem harmless enough but you never know how the player might really take to it. Given what you've just said it could further hint at Howe not being the best around certain players.
