Just seen a scrum of massive rats behind the hotel - might give breakfast a miss? Suppose it’s inevitable down here?

That can happen anywhere I suppose even moreso in these times.

Not been in London this side of millennium.

Aside from the airport it is about 10 year for me anaw. Pre-Covid she was down twice a week (ooer) so her regular tales of woe sort me out if I have any pangs.

For me Glasgow's the ideal city in terms of size / location.

Big enough to be anonymous & small enough to navigate easily.

Loch Lomond 35 mins, Glencoe 100 mins, Borders 120 mins.

Far too fvkin close to Edinburgh tho.
