If he's anymore than 25 million then look for someone else. He's not the only class CB in the world. We shouldn't be held to ransom.
There are many planks in the world, but, the biggest are the ones that want to take Leeds down the road that landed them where we were before we even start the new season!..
Its ok saying he wants to stay, but nobody knows who's going to bid what or what Brighton want for him, they just might want a price even Liverpool or ManC don't want to pay, but its ok, we should sign him!..
So, we should pay the going rate for him, tell us what is the going rate for him?..
The rate will be the highest bidder or the price Brighton want, don't think Leeds will come near that so all we can hope is he has a say and he wants to stay with us!..
"pay up sign him"
-----------------
That could be a line straight out of the Peter Ridsdale playbook for how to run a club.
Lets not go back to such profligate lunacy.
It's true there are plenty of quality CBs out there.
However, there aren't plenty of CBs out there who've spent a season under MB, in his system, and excelled.
Ben White has.
And I'll add, we need to hit the ground running,
with a fully stocked squad. Otherwise we'll be
chasing our tails.

Ben White hadn't before he had, and he excelled well enough.
And if Pontus was still here he might not have got his chance!..
15m now, extra 5m if he plays for England and a % in a sell on clause.
There's not many CB's who, at twenty, will run out of defence with the ball to set up an attack and there's not many players, let alone CBs, who could have scored the goal he scored against Charlton.
I really hope we can sign him. I am sure he'd want to stay with the club if it were down to him.
