The people who want to keep him or in my case particularly is that many many players have had a difficult first season and gone on to be fantastic so I don’t get why we should just write him off now.

If he’s performing or not interested after next season then that’s when we should say okay we tried but it’s not working out.

Numbers wise he out performed all the central midfielders including lamela who some keep backing after 7 years of meh.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There's defo an argument to keep him for a second year, especially if Jose can get the squad balanced properly to get the most out of our more talented players. Whether that happens (If we need to sell b4 we buy).... who knows.

Not sure I buy the "out performance" vs Winks, Lamela GLC & Sissoko.,Being the best of a bad bunch for a team in decline is hardly a strength.

It’s also not a weakness but shows in a considerable less time on the pitch he was doing better than the rest.

Now let’s say he played double the minutes who could argue he’d double his output which would’ve put him on better numbers than any central midfielder we’ve had since modric.

Now I get there’s more to it than that but that’s why I think he deserves the second season.

Then if he don’t perform then it’s all on him, not the managers, not settling in etc

The fact the posters wanting him gone are the idiots of the board I’m glad I’m on the other side
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Bit like the idiots who will blame Mourinho for absolutely everything including Ndombele. I’m glad I’m on the other side and actually back my manager from the start unlike some
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So we should give Jose a chance but not Ndombele?

You do realise that’s hypocritical right?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You didn’t even give Jose a chance so the only hypocrite is you. Was on his back the moment he arrived. At least I actually gave myself a few months to figure out Ndombele and see what a lazy bas*** he is. If he proves me wrong and we keep him, then fantastic.

No that would make us both hypocritical

I Don't disagree, Hopefully he can do enough in training to earn more starts. Obviously there's something going on behind the scenes that is stopping him get the minutes a record signing in our biggest problem area should be.

Can't helping the covid situation has perhaps impacted what we are gonna do about him. Jose Clearly doesn't like him but he might not have any choice. Had the stadium been the cash cow we all hoped we could have been more proactive about what to do with him. Its a bit like what United went through with Pogba (trying to build a team around all the things he can't do) because of the outlay on him. Sadly for us, they got lucky with Bruno and took all the pressure off by having to rely on Pogba.

TBH I'm more optimistic of GLC having a better second season (seems better suited to the Prem) and PEH providing a base from which our MF can show a bit more creativity...... If that helps NDombele.... win, win but I'm not expecting some amazing 180 turnaround

Come on, a swap deal involving 4 players ( according to the press ) is way too complicated for Levy. He will go to the toilet, sh*t himself, and won't come back out for a couple of weeks. By which time the deals will be dead in the water anyway.

Even a simple deal like Hojbjerg, where the price is ok, the club happy to sell AND the player actually wants to come to Spurs, and what does Levy do ? stalls and stalls to the point everyone says, you know what, I can't be bothered with this.

Exactly, the player wants us, we want the player, he`s in his final year of his contract, it should be a straight forward deal to conclude quickly. Instead we will be pisssing around late in the window as Levy tries to save a few hundred grand.

You keep saying this but he played in all our preseason games on our tour of Asia. So when did this injury occur?

Fountain of Knowledge - He didn't play in Poch's greatest triumph of the Audi Cup win against Bayern.

There were definately reports of him finding the training too tough. Alarm bells!

So far you supplied a link that went against your point not saying lies about what I posted.

“ he played in all our preseason games on our tour of Asia.”

Now I’m not 100% on this put I don’t believe the Audi cup played in Germany is part off Asia?

So I ask again where are you getting he got injured “AFTER A FEW DAYS OF TRAINING” when joining us?
