I can't imagine that it would have close to the infuriating impact that you seem to think it would.
Nah, Klopp wouldn’t spend the type of money it would take to get him, not his style
Interesting take, though my inkling would be that it’s Liverpool on the way down not city after how you finished the season. I think you wont be anywhere near as good next season (still in the hunt for the title, but I don’t think you’ll win it).
what a way to spend your weekend...

😂
How much do you think he’d cost? Klopp has already said you won’t be spending big this summer. Personally I don’t think he would think about it. Now that City have been given the green light to flout all FFP rules they’ll be very busy this summer.
Liverpool have a way to go before being looked at as the dominant force. City won the last 2 titles, did the domestic treble last season, and could get a CL to go with their League Cup.
Not sure why KDB would think about it. City are still the dominant team in the land.
The only team that looks like dominating for the next decade is Man Utd

You tell em Goat
United have world cup winning Frenchmen in Pogba and Martial. We have a current Euros world champion in Bruno and we have world cup and euro world champions in De Gea and Mata. We also have the best young talent from the best national team in the world at the moment, England.
For each position, we currently have the best player in the world except maybe left back at the moment because Shaw is out injured.
I take it you don’t drink, don’t have a girlfriend and live in a remote farmhouse in Bosnia
What is the bloody point in putting in a bid for a player who plays for a rival club who won't sell him to you? I think their time can be spent better elsewhere.
You been on the drink again GB?

That's what people like you said at the end of the previous season.
I don't see how the team who have another year together with the young players another year older suddenly become worse. It's the hope that kills you.

He’d cost bare bones 150 mil and probably closer to 200.
Which of course isn’t money we have, nor would it even bother pep or City, they would likely laugh. Just as we did at Arsenal’s Suarez bid years ago

I don’t think ffp is the concern it was for the club 7 years ago anyway. City could sign Ake, Torres and Kouliaby this summer and still turn a profit
If Torres cost Chelsea £50m 10 years ago then with inflation City would be paying double that for him now surely?

City is now a beneficiary of FFP. Why would they want to cheat on something that now benefits them?
I wouldn’t have thought Furlough FC had the funds??
Put in a cheeky bid of £200m
If by unsettling you mean endless uncontrollable laughter then you may be on to something here
To be fair he’s a boyhood Liverpool fan and probably deserves to play for a side capable of making CL finals. He might end his career with no European success which would be a great shame.
