Cedric
Luiz
Willian
Potentially Coutinho

All Agent Kia players.

To me it seems like Raul is just using his connections with agents to get players through deals and agreements

I don’t like that type of transfer policy. Like every now and then fine but we also need to do it through a good planning approach by looking at the qualities we actually need. Not just signing one player from Kia in the hope he does us a favour in the future
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Just look at signings. How much do you think Kia makes from that lot? Peanuts. They are all low fee or no fee signings. So the idea that we are using him alone is nonsense.

Samir Khiat made more money from us last season than all of rest combined.

100% we should NOT sign him

He’s 32 years old, wants a 3 year contract and he’s never been THAT good in the first place.

Gallas, Benayoun, Kalou, Malouda, Cech, Luiz, what is our obsession with Chelsea cast offs?

We have plenty of young talented players who we would be better off trying to get the best out off than signing a has been. He probably wants massive wages too. Looks like we will sign him tho which is pretty annoying.

Not really a cast off if they would rather keep him

Decent player but worried he could be another Chelsea sleeper agent like Cech and Luiz.

One of the players I did envy Chelsea having. Don't mind him at AFC but do have big reservations about giving him a 3 yr deal. It's a situation where I want the player to put his contract money where his mouth is. That 3rd year money (if not 2nd and 3rd) would have to be agreed to based on performance targets being met. No "We sign and you get paid full whack regardless what you contribute." For me, any player not willing to back himself by signing, IS NOT worth us taking the financial risk on.

NEVER AGAIN! Can any player who is likely to age out at AFC, be allowed to sign a high pay, condition free, multi year deal, OZIL DEAL! Not agreeing to performance stipulations in this situation, is already a big indicator the player has no intention of giving us 100% for the whole duration of his contract. It's asking for trouble because I'm sure he won't be on chump change.

Only because he had Martinez telling him what to do. By all means give him credit for his effort, performance and following directing cues. But please don't give him credit for directing the show. That's split between the manager and the GK behind Luiz, not the player himself. If it was him, he'd have been that good all season, not just since Martinez came into the fray.

David Luiz, did not win us the FA Cup by any stretch of the imagination.

Yeah he's been decent, we'd be fked without him this season, the current formation wouldn't work

Yep, I made an article stating that I was embarrassed we signed Luiz a while back but to be fair at that stage if what the pundits were saying was accurate he had made more mistakes at the back leading to red cards/penalties than any other player in a Premier League season (5).

The turnaround has been miraculous though and given his performances since the restart (apart from the first game against Man City) he has impressed me to the point where I'm ok with him to stay for another season.

I'm not keen on Willian at all though... Pretty big wages and a 3 year contract for a winger that is turning 32 tomorrow? No way, no thanks.
