Stoke likely to sign Fletcher now by the looks of it.

I’m happy he’s not coming, not buying it he was a good option, he’s slowly got worse every time I’ve seen him.

Lat's be honest here Fletcher was going to be our 4th choice striker. At 33 he probably feels he can still offer something lower down than be a back up to the back up who is the back up for Eduoard.

A 2 year deal probably meant he could make some money and get a bit of game time but a one year contract effectively means resigning himself to cameo appearances off the bench when we need to mix it up.

Not a top signing for Celtic and not what a 33 year old needs either

Just throws more concern over our transfer business/dealings though

Agreed...and i would not be surprised if we get the £40m. He's an outstanding footballer and will go way beyond Villa and Everton.
