Never wanted him to begin with, knew he would be a disaster and said so. Pointless signing

It must have come as a shock to you to finally get something right.

Sky are reporting its a free transfer, Sanchez has waived the last two years of his contract with United paying a 'small fee' to him.

I've just worked out that offloading Sanchez and saving £850k per week in wages saves you over £44m in one year, which would pay for nearly half the fee for Sancho.

It seems a strange one that, as he wouldn't have had any choice but to waive the last two years of his contract if he was signing a permanent deal elsewhere. I'm guessing he's on significantly smaller wages at Inter and wouldn't have moved without some compensation.

In essence, any transfer fee is actually being footed by the selling club, which sums up how desperate United were you get rid. And how disastrous a signing it was

He'll want a small uplift so probably £1m per week.

Work it out again but with over 50% off the weekly wage you originally used.

You could build a new hospital with what you’ve saved in wages
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pointless building something you may never use

That’s why I can understand why your owners made the emptyhad bigger

And how disastrous a signing it was

.....

Right up there with the worst signings ever by United. And you probably wouldn’t of ever thought of saying that on a free transfer.

But it's common knowledge Sanchez has cost us 950k per week, I think a Spurs fan would definitely know that Sanchez has cost us 1.1m a week. Realistically, has Sanchez been worth the 1.3m we were paying him? I don't think so. All told, it'll be nice to get the 1.5m per week off our wage bill

Yep. The only way that Real will get rid of Bale as well. He is in a great position.

X amount still owed in wages

We will have given Sanchez half, with Inter paying him the other half and more over the 3 years of his contract with them.

I doubt we will have paid as much as half. As Sanchez has the benefit of having that lump sum (whatever it is) sat in his bank earning interest, rather than being paid weekly or monthly.

Why would he leave for less than what he was owed unless their was some financial.incentive? He had us over a barrell
