Back to the op. Glad he’s off our wage bill. It didn’t work out, and it was a costly mistake.
I’m also glad that he’s not getting any more money from us in any sort of payout.

If he's playing a WUM then he's doing it well for me as he constantly winds me up. I choose to believe he is a WUM as I can't believe anyone is that dense.

RDD is definitely a WUM, just a really bad one. I actually find it amusing how he ties himself in knots.
On a separate note, how’s your partner?

He is a WUM. I don't know why but he/she is the only person that gets to me on here. Strange eh when the likes of Stretty used to be on here!
She's a bit better thanks. Swimming Pools can open here from Monday so she's got that to look forward to. Plus a holiday to the canaries in four weeks if it isn't cancelled. I'll cross the potential dodgy bridge of it being cancelled when we get there. I'd do anything to understand why things get her down and even take that pain away from her. I can't though and it's so frustrating. Maybe that's why RDD gets to me. Hard to get through to him/her as well.
Glad she and you have things to look forward to, hopefully it helps. ๐ค๐ปthings continue in a positive trajectory. ๐๐ป

I count my blessings most days really. Some people are in much worse situations but it does make me sad that she is sad. Funnily enough she coped admirably with her daughter getting Covid a couple of months ago! Strange how people cope with different things. Talking of worse situations I have a friend who lost his 23 yo daughter in a car crash last year and his Dad a few months ago in a car fire so there's always people worse off. I really feel for him. If I've got where you live right he's living not too far away from you now.
Yes. Things to look forward to is always good. Truth be told I need the holiday too. It'll be nice to watch a game or two in the sun with a 1 euro beer!

Hi Diafol.
Didn’t spot you mentioning anything about this before. Hope your partner is getting the help and support she needs, whether that’s on a personal, social and/or professional basis.
My mum struggled with depression when I was growing up, but as a kid, I didn’t really understand - or in truth, work hard enough to engage with - what was going on. From there it was nigh on a couple of decades before I knew of anyone else close to me struggling with their mental health. Then, seemingly all of a sudden, I had three good friends start to talk about their problems.
One positive thing, for sure related to the directly above, is that it has never been so easy for people to open up about their problems and there has never been so much help available for people. That doesn’t mean that things can’t (very significantly) improve in terms of the availability of and access to mental health services; but awareness is certainly improving, and whatever else she’s doing, I’m glad your partner is at least opening up a little. Talking is massively important.

Thanks Rosso.
I've not really mentioned it before perhaps because I've not really felt it as keenly. Lockdown has been pretty difficult for her as well as she hasn't been able to do the things she likes doing and that probably has rubbed off on me.
Help is available but it is slow where we are. Cancelled appointments and different diagnoses doesn't help her especially when she has trust issues (which I think are linked to her been beaten black and blue by a previous partner).
Sorry, if I'm sharing too much here though when we really should be slagging off the Sanchez era!

Quite a few places reporting this morning that we have paid Sanchez £9m to leave. Most reputable sources have his contract at United as being £375,000 per week. He had 97 weeks remaining on his contract. Apparently his wage at Inter is £130,000 per week. So that is a pay disparity of £23,765,000 over the course of the remaining 97 weeks of his contract. So if we have paid him £9m as is being reported, that is less than half of the difference in value of his contract/s.
I am sure that Inter will have given him a decent signing on fee as there was no transfer fee to pay and he has likely taken a but of a hit to be happy and playing regular football and also have secured an additional year's contract.

Not real friends by the sound of it. Awful people who if they were her friends would have time for it, not token gesture jumping on the latest Facebook bandwagon. Sadly the world is full of them.
I don’t (Think I) suffer from any mental health issues, but I found that running most days really helped lift my mood up a lot when lockdown made me feel a bit stir crazy. It’s not something that would help in all cases but for a lot of people decent exercise can work a little magic.

Baz. Our dog has been a great help in that respect. Gets us (especially her) out of the house as you have to take them out.
I walk miles when I'm off. I've been different places during lockdown, places I've never been, and I've come across some nice pubs (that were closed). They've been open since Monday though so perhaps I'll pop into one tomorrow!

Seen some different figures but they had to cut their losses. I'll be surprised if we see his Arsenal from again.

To be honest I've gone light on the figures. The Telegraph have Sanchez's wage at £560k a week.

Sounds like she had a tough time before....
and then she met you. It never rains...!
Hope things get a lot better, it’s not good for anyone’s mental health this lockdown business, should start to ease up soon..I hope..

There’s always one caaaaaaant. And it’s usually because Baz is around
----------------------------------------------------------------------
hey I wished him well!
May have had a light joke first, but...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To be fair I do have gallows humour so I did actually appreciate Baz's joke.
I'd much rather that than some of her so called 'friends' who didn't want to know when she got a bit ill. And yet they're more than happy to share mental health memes and 'Be Kind' on Facebook! Strange world!

Seen some different figures but they had to cut their losses. I'll be surprised if we see his Arsenal from again.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To be honest I've gone light on the figures. The Telegraph have Sanchez's wage at £560k a week.

I live about 20 mins from Betws y Coed. If you ever do travel to the area I'd give you suggestions on where to go.
