Fair enough, I think perhaps I'm wrong and have just remembered it incorrectly. Bad example then!
But generally speaking it does seem that Spurs mostly buy players at that medium level - not cheap but also not top drawer.
People criticise Poch for his transfer record but when you look at it from a wages perspective, you can start to appreciate why he had a lower hit rate imo.

Juve are out of the CL and Sarri will be gone as a consequence.
Pochettino will take over next season at Juve!
Lets see if he attracts Spurs prized possession...... Harry Kane!
