Ferencvaros or Djurgardens for Celtic in Europe.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Are we at home?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yup
Just seen a good tweet about big Julien.
The guy has been immense in Europe and old firm games plus he strolls majority of the domestic games. He does however appear to have a nightmare against Dykes, Akinpoe and Kabamba, all 3 play on artificial pitches so I think it’s too much of a coincidence for that not to be the underlying issue here.
I’d just leave him out of those games going forward, stick Biton in there or even El Hammed.
Still don't know what's happening about the Iceland tie. Believe Icelandic league still in a COVID shutdown.
No knee jerk reaction from me to yesterday. Playing catch up after 2 games is not ideal but will knock any complacency out of them.
August is always a sticky but important month.
Ultimately as long as it’s no more than 2/3 points in it league wise and we qualify for the CL or EL then it’s been a decent month.

Not being funny but do you think Jullien strolled the cup final against Rangers?
Fraser Forster had an absolute worldly and was MOTM - Morelos alone had about half a dozen decent attempts on goal.
I get that the goal stats says clean sheet but the reality is Morelos gave the CBs a torrid time and breached the Celtic defence on multiple occasions. A combination of great goalkeeping and mediocre finishing saved their blushes.

It was replaced last summer. Not sure it's any better?
7 seasons but that doesn't make it right, acceptable or in any way a reason why the matches on it should be easier. Everyone hates them, even the Killie players - the PFA survey confirmed it. As usual, we'll do fook all about it.
See tbh, it is calling out for all fans to boycott the plastic pitches once fans are allowed back in so far as possible. Might make them reconsider the financial equation? Might even unite the OF fans if they demonstrated at Hampden?

That means we are in a good place. She is letting England take the first steps in most things to see what falls out of them.
Not a bad approach and a fair representation of what is likely to happen in Scotland when we open things up.
Just frustratingly slow.
She's going my baws right in.
Her wee lapdogs praising her for admitting the SQA's have been wrong as well
She should be facing calls to resign ffs!
Awful performance not one player gets pass marks, we never looked like scoring, and if not for the Killie keepers blunder we wouldn't have.
WTF was Julien doing during that match he is an absolute charlatan and way too much of a Wussy for scottish football.
Also i have yet to see Ajer win a ball in the air ??
Eddy is also useless in the air he never wins a header against any opposition.
Team lacks a maverick against packed defences
when Rogic isn't there
Still early days plenty time to improve
Julien was embarrassing yesterday.
And absolute schoolboy error that led to the pen and to continue trying to foul the guy whilst in the box - Jesus Christ

It is still very early, as you say, BUT that "performance" was SO bad across the board that is has to be a big concern. Pitch is a shocker, but that doesn't excuse that level of no show. 2 shots on target, one from a dead ball, against Killie ... and generally looking all over the shop any time they entered our half (which also happened the previous week BTW, but tends to get forgotten as we won 5-1).
You would think this might kickstart us into actually addressing some key positions in the transfer market, but we've all seen this movie before.
How are we all? I hope everyone is as well as can be at the moment. Few points on the game;
When we play one up front we need width yet they continually play in the middle when it is too congested, Moi is a left footer according to commentator? Dont think so he kept wandering inside making it even worse.
Eddy drops deep meaning no one up top, yesterday's game was ideal for Griffiths and allowing Eddy to drop and have someone to link with. He cant have made an understanding with Klimala yet and that wasnt a game to do so.
Brown has been poor last couple of games, he looks done. I have never been his greatest fan but it still pains me to say that after he somewhat had a swansong the past few seasons. We have 5 subs why wait so long to use them and get Ntcham on.
Lennon looked clueless as to how to change it which is a worry. I know it is very early days but with the no fans and how tight it will be seemingly I have had to order a few new pair of pants and tights!
I think he wanted Kennedy to do something and it is not always just about getting your man to beat his opponent. Did not take a genius to work out it needed tweaked sharpish. I would have had more width with Dembele or someone to provide a spark.
Roll on Wednesday and take it easy troops.

Lenny defending him today saying he always take a while to get up to speed ... WTF?!! That was nothing to do with match sharpness, just utter stupidity. Got turned not long after playing a high line, and was so close to manhandling the guy for an automatic red as well.
Jullien has those types of basic errors in his game, and we've seen them over an over again. I remember getting pelters on here a while back for pointing out numerous mistakes he made up at Pittodrie (misplaced passes, outmuscled, getting too tight, losing defensive headers) ... but we'd won that day, so he was great. Clear as day to me way back then what his limitations were ... and still are.
