No, he won't improve the team

Be a quality addition to the squad.

Nah. Hasn’t been good for a long time but would still want big wages.

If we’re taking a punt on a free we could do far worse than Ryan Fraser. Much better player than Dan James.

On the face of it, he could be a cheap back-up to Fernandes.

I hadn't followed the story of his recent career, but reading about it now, the context to his being released by Dortmund is that he has been suffering from a metabolic disorder that affects the fibres in the muscles, causing fatigue and increasing recovery times. At Bayern he was criticised for being lazy. Turns out it probably wasn't his fault.

I have sympathy for him if that’s the case but I don’t think we need a player like that.

Yeah, it can cause parts of his body to become quite stiff and rigid too.

His mrs is alright though...

I agree, Process. My second paragraph was intended to give context that went deeper than 'on the face of it' but I neglected to add a final sentence that concluded 'therefore, we should steer clear"!

I'm tentative about clicking on a link relating to his lady after you mentioned parts of his body becoming stiff...

A few years ago he’ll yes, now I think he’s more interested in social media career not to mention his condition. We already have Jessie and Pogba for social media.

We are not being linked with him so I don't rate him. If we were linked with him then I would rate him. Never seen him play.

I'd rather we try for David Silva

Lovely player in his pomp but he'd be a huge risk now and I suspect he's done at the top level.

Should have done that 10 years ago.

He could keep Phil Jones company?

Whatever he does the rest of his career he will always be known as the boy who won the world cup for Germany in Brazil

Surprised he was only 28 and a free agent, only to realise he may have a medical condition that's sadly affected his career.

Regardless, he scored the winning World cup goal - What better way to talk about your career.

Someone to keep Shaw company at Burger Shack.

Yes he will. And it was his only contribution. Up until then he had been really poor.
