That was never a penalty as long as I have a hole in my arce, once again a United player has dived and been gifted a penalty kick, just one of many.

Football is corrupt / broken / full of shiet biased officials / driven by biased media agendas. Everything is set up for clubs like United and Pool to succeed.

United players are cheats, as are Pool`s, but they'll never get called out on it by their hoards of former players that infest the media, instead they are gifted penalty kicks and regarded as `clever players` like what we saw tonight.

These two clubs are the best supported. they are a sponsors and competition owners dream, they will generate so much money with these two clubs doing well. In times of recession, if you had to pick two clubs to be successful, you would pick these two.

What a load of facking bollockks 'football' is these days.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Billy genuinely believes that because Utd have averaged 3 more penalties acseason since the Prems inception there is a bonafide conspiracy spanning 30 years and there's not heen one whistle blower.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Grown men thinking that every decision that goes against them or in favour of another team is solely due to corruption at the highest levels, eh?

Him and cinciwolf should go for a pint together.

i wish cinci would go home and stop posting, he's managed to overtake such legends as billy and steve f in the whining stakes, becoming one of the worst posters on the site.

The expected response. Can't even hold your hands up when you have just cheated your way into a semi final.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We'll cheat our way past wolves then all you'll be left with is ranting and crying on 606
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I suspect we will get beat by Sevilla so it won't matter. Already cheated out of league placing a so it will be nice to lose fair and square for once.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Are you suggesting every league game Wolves lost this season was a result of cheating?

This is a new level of barmy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Did I say that? VAR robbed us of seven points through incorrect decisions. And that is a system put in place so things like that don't happen

It is an absolute farce at this stage. How anyone can think anything other than FIX is beyond me.

I posted on the match thread late first half that the game would be decided by pens either during the match or in the shoot out. That is how predictable it is now.

I hope we get the chance to face them in the semi final but I already now we are basically a goal down if we do.

For those bringing up VAR, don't. VAR will only step in if there is a blatant mistake. If its a case of I have seen them given and seen them denied, they will go with the refs ruling. The ONLY thing VAR gives FACTS on is offside. You are either on or off in that case...even if it is by an armpit.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They even got that wrong on a few occasions.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exactly, VAR is only as good a tool as the tools who are using it. So far it's often just been used as another opportunity for cheating and corruption.

posted on 11/8/20

VAR got probably an absurd amount of decisions against us this season. I think over 30 easy decisions all wrong. Now that smells of conspiracy against Man Utd this season. It is insane people think we get favoured when we have had opposition get away with like 10 red cards and 10 clear penalties and many wrongly awarded goals against us. It is insane really. Honestly think there is corruption in football. I saw Liverpool got away with a clear foul against Everton at Anfield and no penalty. Liverpool handball stops an open goal for Man City and Liverpool score at the other end. Honestly wish someone made a video of all the big wrong decisions against us. This season has shown corruption. I like how Fred was booked for diving against Man City after being kicked in the box. Greenwood against Southampton gets to ball first and defender lamps Greenwood swinging for the ball but lamping Greenwood in the box and you guessed it no penalty. The commentators were talking about who was going to take the penalty and instead nothing was given. They also got away with 2 red card offences that game. Also in home game another red card early on. Palace at home Martial rugby fouled in the box= no penalty as VAR excuse was they looked at something else lol. Stopped a certain goal but rugby fouling Martial is okay. Also in the 1st half Martial clean through on goal, Cahill last man foul-=no red card. Like they deliberatedly cheating us. Cahill did a Solskjaer type last man foul and somehow got away with it. It was so blatant and it was early on. Also we learnt elbowing goalkeepers in the face is allowed as Everton did at OT to lead to a goal. Also Jones getting smashed out the way is allowed but what was funny was about 10 seconds after restart of the goal the ref blew the whistle for Jones breathing near a Sheffield United player.

21 pens and the only one definitely wrongly awarded was the Fernandez one at Villa.

Plenty not awarded to United that could or should have.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The Norwich one was an absolute shocking decision, so much so that Mike Riley apologised.

The thing is consistancy. I have seen far more stonewall penalties not given for Arsenal than a lot of those United ones. As a football fan, when you see your team denied a clear penalty and then see another team get a lot of softer calls in their favour then you do question why.

Salah gets denied about 3/4 pens a game for what Utd get given penalties for Jay. Thats the problem. If Salah did what Martial did tonight, Utd fans be all over him for it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

This is just too perfect.

I’ll tell you exactly what happens when Salah dives like Martial did tonight... there’s a queue of Liverpool fans lining up to defend him and to tell us that he’s entitled to go down when he feels contact.

And YOU are one of them.

https://www.ja606.co.uk/articles/viewArticle/401884

There are many others. Arguing for pages on end that a hand on the shoulder is justification for collapsing to the floor.

And this really does sum up the hypocrisy of this thread.

As funny as it is watching a handful of posters absolutely lose their sheite because United got another pen, the hypocrisy and bias on display is truly staggering.

There’s no objective discussion to be had here about last nights pen or United in general. That much is clear.

I wonder how many more 50/50 decisions United get compared to everyone else.

It’s not about whether the penalties were wrong decisions, it’s whether United get the benefit of the doubt more often than other teams. They clearly do.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Benefit of the doubt is gone this season with VAR, perhaps now that VAR is double checking everything is what it making the difference
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That’s wrong. Unless it’s a nailed on error by the ref then VAR won’t change it. So benefit of the doubt is still very much relevant.
