21 pens and the only one definitely wrongly awarded was the Fernandez one at Villa.

Plenty not awarded to United that could or should have.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The Norwich one was an absolute shocking decision, so much so that Mike Riley apologised.

The thing is consistancy. I have seen far more stonewall penalties not given for Arsenal than a lot of those United ones. As a football fan, when you see your team denied a clear penalty and then see another team get a lot of softer calls in their favour then you do question why.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Did you see the one Baily got purnished for non-handball in Bournemouth game?
I hope we get another penalty vs Wolves, so I don't need to put salt in my food when cooking
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I did, he had his arm out and it hit his arm.
In the same game Adam Smith was penalised for the ball hitting his arm too.

If that's your conclusion then nothing will stop you from believing those conspiracy.
Watch the slow motion carefully, the ball never hit his arm. If it is counted as handball then the goal we conceded against Sheffield United shouldn't have been counted also

That was never a penalty as long as I have a hole in my arce, once again a United player has dived and been gifted a penalty kick, just one of many.

Football is corrupt / broken / full of shiet biased officials / driven by biased media agendas. Everything is set up for clubs like United and Pool to succeed.

United players are cheats, as are Pool`s, but they'll never get called out on it by their hoards of former players that infest the media, instead they are gifted penalty kicks and regarded as `clever players` like what we saw tonight.

These two clubs are the best supported. they are a sponsors and competition owners dream, they will generate so much money with these two clubs doing well. In times of recession, if you had to pick two clubs to be successful, you would pick these two.

What a load of facking bollockks 'football' is these days.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Are you saying it wasn't a penalty?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Billy genuinely believes that because Utd have averaged 3 more penalties acseason since the Prems inception there is a bonafide conspiracy spanning 30 years and there's not heen one whistle blower.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Grown men thinking that every decision that goes against them or in favour of another team is solely due to corruption at the highest levels, eh?

Him and cinciwolf should go for a pint together.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
2 pints of bitter I would assume

Surely the issue a lot of people are having isn't that United are getting penalties, it's that they seem to be getting penalties for fouls that no one else is getting.

Salah gets grabbed and pulled like Martial did last night virtually every other game and yet we've only had 5 penalties all season.

It's not United's fault, the lack of consistency is just frustrating.

So you make an article crying about a penalty that you never bothered to check was legit?

Marvellous

----------------------------------------------------------------------
He isn’t actually moaning about the penalty is he? Stop making things up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But what caught my eye was that it mentioned it was the TWENTY FIRST penalty they have been given this season. Like what in the actual faaaaack. Granted, I did not see if it was a legit one or not

He’s going on about the amount of penalties they’re getting. No moaning about the one you got last night, so yes you made it up and then reposted your lies.

Exactly.
Even Utd fans are moaning about lack of consistency, yet seem closed to the idea of it at the same time.

Last night it was a 50-50 pen, more like a soft one. Can't exactly remember all of them. I remember the City one against Rashford and it was a clear pen, and I recall they had another one against Fred not given also vs City. But I remember there were debates about many of them as they were 50-50's. They seem to have 99% of the 50-50 given where usually most teams will have plenty of these 50-50 ones but no way it will be more than half of them given, let alone 99%.

It’s this sort of nonsense comment that irritates me.

No real basis to this comment is there, yet you’ve convinced yourself there’s a problem so that’s that.

I mean, let’s ignore that last night was a European competition. Let’s ignore that there have been at least two penalties in recent seasons awarded to fouls on Salah that have involved similar circumstances - touched on the shoulder and then he falls to the ground - that have had many Liverpool fans defending him.

Let’s just call it inconsistent and convince ourselves that’s the case.

We had tons of stonewall penalties and clear red cards that shouldn’t even need VAR turned down. I don’t think any other side comes close to as badly affected by VAR than us. I already thought this before VAR came but with VAR just shows how corrupt football is against Man Utd.

VAR cruelty cost Man U the tittle this season. This is your best season in a while, nothing to show for it.
You may win the EL yet, but I have a feeling refs and VAR don’t like Man Utd

To ensure fairness they should limit the number of penalties that can be awarded to a team in a single season at an agreed number, say 10. Once a team has had their 10, no other penalties can be awarded for them until the start of the next season, and if a player is chopped down two footed in the box the referee must wave play on.

To make it a level playing field, teams that haven't reached their quota of 10 should have one a game awarded in the remaining number of games until they reach their limit.

No idea why this idea has taken so long to implement.

All penalty decisions *given for* individually analysed up to and including the Villa game.

16 clear penalties; two debatable.

A tap on the shoulder isn`t a foul, no matter how theatrically you throw yourself to the floor.

It is perfectly clear what is going on, the authorities and money men want the best supported clubs to be successful, this maximizes their revenues, which is vital in times of recession.

Add that to the general bias and benefit of doubt (which has been going on for many many years) and the results are regular `benefit of doubt decisions` going the way of Pool and United, and subsequently both clubs dragged to the top of the league and into the CL, courtesy of refereeing bias and corruption.

100% if referees did their jobs properly, Spurs would have finished above Penchester United in the PL this season.

Anybody in a Spurs shirt gets given nothing, whether they are nailed on or soft, they are ignored 80% of the time.

Read the article analysing each of the decisions above, or watch Sky’s video of all of the decisions and judge for yourself if you think you can do better than the experts.

Then come back and tell us which of the penalties shouldn’t have been given, and give your reasons.
