Ozil: "I'm not going anywhere."

He's turned into a nightmare. Even at 20k per week it would be too much as he obviously isn't interested in trying hard enough to get games.

Ozil: "I'm not going anywhere."

Not sure, I believe he said that

Good to see a player show loyalty to a club by seeing out their contract. It's rare to see such loyalty in football these days.

Arsenal Legend. Expect him to turn it on this season and get another couple of years added.

Clearly doesn't care about football anymore so he may as well stay on obscene wages doing nothing. He wouldn't get anywhere near as much elsewhere. I don't blame him but it's sad.

He's seen Gareth sat on his keyster at Madrid and thought why the hellnot! He's loving life doing nothing and getting paid mega wages, just like me😃

Only difference is Bale has actually performed at his Club and not played the invisible man for the best part of a decade. He's also not a gutless coward like Ozil. What a leech🤮

The hate on here is strong. I still think we are starting players who are worse for the team than him. Our finishing 8th just goes to strengthen that belief. Like all players, you need to play a game that brings out the best in them and we play a game that doesnt suit Ozil, or achieve success in the league for that matter.

Think this goes way beyond that. Ozil is clearly doing something very wrong in training and obviously on the occasions he's played hasn't been good enough. Such a shame as at one point he was a truly brilliant player

Told you lot this'd fast turn into a press debacle around him. Phase one, the setup. Note the tone of "I'm getting bullied," about it. The big bad unknown forces trying to turn the fans against him and trying to run him out. As though his performances don't justify him not playing.

Give it a while and the agent will pop up talking about the misery Ozil has suffered in the face of all this, for years. Because (of course) Emery bullied him. The general narrative here will be that for the last two years at least Ozil has been miserable due to being the victim.

He can't get on the field to make any new youtube game clips, to artificially inflate his next deal. So plan B is to now play victim and hugely discredit AFC by claiming it's the club's bullying and these unknown forces, that are the reason for his poor play. Not him being a no good who was just looking to cash in. And wants to again now.

"I’ll decide when I go, not others"

Best case made for banning him from the Emirates and all other AFC premises he gets to use, entirely. Can stay at home until his final day.

Just to clear up his confusion and demonstrate that regardless what that contract says. WE decide when he leaves this team, not him. Feckin cheeky

Only a pure Ozil Fanboy could make that statement. You've literally just watched all of those players you say are worse for the team than him. Be better for the team than him (unless you don't watch games).

The hate for him is strong for good bloody reason. There's no way you can look at his attitude and P's poor level of effort the last 3-5 years. And blame other players. None of them made him a lazy who won't tackle, press the ball or even stand in the way of the opposition. That's all on him.

The other players you speak of all actually deserve credit for putting up with his crap and carrying him (to the detriment of their own games) Not Ozil fanboys blaming them and the system for the fact Ozil is a

He still has some football left in him and he should utilise it. Obviously there has been a huge fallout at Arsenal and his career here is virtually over. He can resume his career on an even much bigger salary elsewhere, like Russia or MLS, I'm sure Bekham would snap him up. China is completely out of question because of his comments on Chinese Muslims, which again created problems for the club (our match vs Man City was banned in China as a result). I just find it foolish that he would rather sit at home all week instead of pursuing his career and earning even more elsewhere.

I'd guess it's not just his salary that we know about, that is the only money involved. Greedy git and his dodgy agent probably got some deal elsewhere that sees him getting a fat wad each year, conditional on him remaining an AFC or PL player. Worth staying the year if he's getting paid a large sum by other means, as a result of doing so.

He still needs to play regularly to keep fit, and he can do that whilst earning a massive salary elsewhere. He is just ruining his career by spending the whole day on his playstation whilst others are winning silverware.

He doesn't care about playing. So if he's got some financial deal (outside of wages) which pays him a large enough sum of money each year that he remains an AFC/PL player. Then it may be a better deal financially to be the little that he is and stick around just to collect that money one the side.

I still think we should burn him completely and make sure no other club wants anything to do with him. Football as a whole need to send a message to all ageing players that this crap won't be tolerated by clubs anymore. By all telling Ozil to go feck himself, in unison.

Ban him for seeing out a contract? Arteta has every right not to pick him. But the money comes out of Kroenke's pockets. Quit acting like you pay the man. Strange reaction.

No you plum. Ban him for the feckin cheek of what he's said. Nothing to do with whether we pay him, got to do that sadly.

We can't sell him so he's giving it the Billy Big Balls to the press mouthing off like he runs the club. So make the point. We might not be able to sell him but if we want him to leave the football club then he will do it whenever Arteta (and Emirates security if necessary) feckin well tell him to. well and truly needs putting in his place.

You sound like an idiot. What is this? A dictatorship? No one's allowed to talk about the big bad Arsenal? If they do we'll ban em from the club and get security to sort them out.

How many articles have been on this site moaning about players having no loyalty and trying to get out of their contracts?
