Comic...kinda agree with u. Loads of red flags etc.....I think a antivirus will be with us soon so back to the norms in what.....8 months ish (??)
I feel that it's strange how Covid is being tested for and tracked in a way the flu never is, despite being a similar virus with only a slightly higher death-rate.
If we tested for the flu, there would be cases everywhere, similar to this.

it has played out as expected to me.
the confirmed cases make up 1/10th of all the a true cases based on what the experts think.
the death rate is inflated with "supposed" cases
US as an example has had 5.5m cases, the leading experts believe this number should really be ten fold, and the deaths to date are 167k.
There are also questions over the cases where covid was listed but never proven.
so if far smarter minds than I are correct and the US really had 55m cases and 167k* deaths this is like 0.3% mortality rate
so basically a bad flu, not worth the shut downs and damage to the economy and peoples livelihoods at all.
It might be inconvenient but don't think for a moment that it's not real.

If you or a member of your family got Covid you would probably change your mind.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
not true at all.
I live in California and I know tens of people who had it, not so much of an issue for any of us who had it.
one person lost a 80 year old grandma who had heart disease.
callous as it is, an 80 year old with heart disease is going to be taken out by something sooner rather than later.
The point where I started to realise it was similar to the flu was when a bunch of NBA players tested positive but didn't show any symptoms.
Obviously the 'at risk' groups should shelter but everyone else should crack on.

I agree. It’s all a bit exaggerated imo. This virus has been circulating since October and we didn’t realise until about March.

if they tracked every cause of death like this and implemented social policy based on the threats we would never be allowed to
drive
drink
smoke
eat meat
eat sugar
leave our houses
insane really when you think about it.

So your family then ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
if I lost an elderly member of my family to covid I would think the same way I would about diabetes or cancer
they're old, they're frail, something was going to come and get them
are you telling me that you feel differently about an old relative dying of this disease rather than heart disease or cancer, thats bonkers.

Practically every country, with all their experts, knowing the impact it would have on them economically and politically, individually decided to lockdown.
All for a bad flu.
Actions have been taken to limit the spread and to not overwhelm health services, its worked.

It's been massively exaggerated if you ask me. Its no coincidence that deaths from flu were/are down. Very few people without underlying health issues are dying from it. I fear that we have destroyed a lot of businesses needlessly

It's killed many before their time. People that are suffering haven't been able to see their relatives. It's devastated nursing homes. You sound pretty heartless tbf.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s not heartless imo. It’s sad when anyone dies but I reckon a large chunk of people who have died with covid (not necessarily from it) would have passed away by now anyway.

funny how people think its not that bad and government exaggerated. Maybe it's not that bad because of the measures taken... fecking numpties
Fack me.... let me get in touch with Kate Garraway and let her know her husband has been put in a coma because of a bad flu
I’ll also contact those Drs and healthcare workers that have lost their lives from over exposure to a “bad flu”
It’s easy to suggest we should all just carry on as we were if you haven’t had to suffer. I’ve had family members ‘recover’. They’re still suffering with shortness of breath and general aches and pains 2 months on. This isn’t a “bad flu”. Count yourself lucky you’ve not yet had to suffer
