The team peaked maybe three/four seasons back, and money has been spent, and will still be spent, but it takes time to rebuild. The time for Spurs to win trophies was four seasons back. Once that didn`t happen was going to be difficult to keep going with the same bunch of players. "
Now he's saying this....
"Spurs have CBs coming out of their ears, so don`t need another one. "
I don't think the poor old duffer can remember what he says from one day to the next, anymore!

Yeah ideally we need a new LB, 2 RBs and CB but that ain't happening is it.

Spurs have CBs coming out of their ears, so don`t need another one. They do need a back up right back to Aurier, and a left back to eventually replace Davies. But none of those are absolute essential.
Midfield is the area that Jose is rightfully working on as a priority.
