I suspect this is wasted on the OP, but what did you actually expect at the beginning of this season?
Do you think a manager can just flick a switch and get the team from bang average to league contenders and trophy winners?
Or do you think perhaps that even with the ‘right manager’ in your eyes that it might take some time to achieve?
“The optimism of some of our fans is a kind a defeatism.”
“Ole leant nothing from Sir Alex.”
“In the 99 final against Bayern, Sir Alex needed a goal, so he played the last minutes with four strikers...”
“Madrid and Barcelona are always at the top because they have demanding fans.“
This article should be adopted by universities worldwide as the primary case study for Sharticle 101.
Congratulations
“In the 99 final against Bayern, Sir Alex needed a goal, so he played the last minutes with four strikers...”
____________
It's amazing we managed to produce that late turnaround, given that Andy Cole, one of the four strikers who finished the game, decided to don a tracksuit top and stand on the sidelines for the last ten minutes or so.

Yep
We had arguably the best collection of strikers in 99 in the history of the game. Why would anyone think it’s a sensible comparison about using subs we we had facking Ighalo on the bench?
