Ridiculous article. Gnabry was promoted to the first team at just 17 years of age. He was developing well then got two massive injuries - his hip and knee.
Now I am no medical expert, but it is hard to pick an injured player.
Wenger rated Gnabry massively and wanted him to stay.
This is dumb. Wenger was a big fan of his, said so numerous times. However the way he's taken of this season, I don't think many saw this coming. He's a genuine world class player changing games at the highest level. This is what I actually how I expected Ox to turn out
Not really hindsight, Gnabry always had the quality to be very good. Injuries were his biggest issue, and whoever decided to send him to West Brom the biggest reason his Arsenal career ended.
It was obvious to anybody who knew what they were looking at that Gnabry was a potential superstar. Wenger just gave up on him, if Wenger had really wanted to keep him he wouldn’t have gone, simple as that.
What part of that is hard to understand ? <smh>...
Wenger most definitely didn't give up on him. He was offered a far better contract than he signed at Werder. Wenger was a bigger fan of Gnabry than you will ever be.
I honestly can’t believe Arsenal got rid of him. I’m not sure it’s been said tonight

He wasn't desperate to leave us because of Wenger. He was homesick, depressed and overweight after his injury hell and the West Brom loan fiasco.
Pretty sure Theo was banging the goals in that season tbf. I’m not comparing ability wise but hard to drop a guy who was 2nd top scorer and top assister that season if I’m correct. Gnabry showed promise then got injured then had a poor spell at wba, not all his fault and no one could av foreseen him ending up at Bayern doing what he is doing now 5 yrs ago.

Ryan Giggs v Serge Gnabry
by D'Jeezus Mackaroni (U1137)9 October 2012
COMMENT ON THIS ARTICLE
We all know about Ryan Giggs. We all know about the titles he has won, the Champions Leagues, the FA Cups, even the League Cup on occassion.
We know he has played in every season of the premier league, and despite never being world class he has maintained a high standard of football.
However, he is nothing compared to Serge Gnabry.
Whilst Giggs is Welsh, Serge is German. Already a plus point in favour of Mr Gnabry. Germans are efficient, great at penalties, and more recently they have added a mix of flamboyance. Serge has all these qualities in abundance. Giggs has the Welsh qualities of sheep harassing, pit mining (in Ryans case his sister-in-laws pit), and talking funny.
Second, as I have already stated Giggs has never reached world class status. However, Serge is all but there, despite only playing a few minutes of Capital One football in terms of first team. Only Ronaldo and Messi can really say they are more gifted than Serge, but even that is highly debateable.
Further more Serge has a smooth chest, not an over grown jungle that Giggs likes to display. This means not only is our German more aero-dynamic, he is also more attractive to women. This means he will not have to resort to stealing his brothers missus, and séxing fame hungry Big Brother rejects.
Serge has another advantage. His father is from the Cote d'Ivoire. Africa is the future of football, as Pele predicted. However Germany will always be a powerhouse. Being half German, half African Serge is guaranteed great success in football.
Finally, Ryan Giggs is the past. No-one cares about the past. All his success is irrelevant. It is history. Serge Gnabry is the future. Everyone dreams of the future, is excited by the future, wants to be part of the future. Serge IS the future.
In conclusion, Serge Gnabry is undoubtably better than Ryan Giggs.
And Serge Gnabry is World Class.

COMMENT ON THIS ARTICLE
So, young Serge is definitely on the plane to Germany. And it isn't just a visit to his homeland. He has been confirmed as part of the squad, along with Podolski and Giroud.
And of course there are rumours Santi Cazorla is also in the squad, and is the reason the squad hasn't been officially announced.
Most of you will have heard the hype around Serge. Some will dismiss it as just another potential star being over-rated, others will be blindly hoping the hype is deserved, and others will have seen him and have signed up to the Gnabry fanclub.
Only just turning 17 last month, how much can we expect from the German this season? Not a lot in terms of first team. The Capital One Cup is his best chance of appearing for us...
...if all goes well.
However, injuries, suspensions, transfers out etc will all play a part in the next few months which could see Serge make a shock surge to the first team.
Being able to play on either wing with comfort helps his cause. He can also play central, but there is no chance of seeing him there this season.
So who is in front of him at the moment? Well, Podolski and Walcott would seem to be the first choice, with the possibilty of Cazorla signing as well. Both Pods and Theo could very well be used as a striker this season, especially if RvP, Bendtner, Park and maybe even Chamakh leave. Cazorla could very well play ACM.
So who next? Well Gervinho and Oxlade-Chamberlain will feel they should be first choice, and well expect games.
After that we have Rosicky (injured), Ramsey (not comfortable out wide) Arshavin (offski?) Miyaichi (going on loan), Lansbury (last chance saloon, possibly on his way out) Eisfeld (pretty much in the same boat as Gnabry). Then we have other options like Andre Santos and Diaby who could play out of position.
So as you can see there is a lot of options, but at the same time a lot of opportunity for Serge. Predicting the near future for a minute, I would guess there is a very good chance Serge will appear in our opening Capital One Cup due to injuries and the players I think are on the way out.
Impress in that, and if the attacking options thin out, Serge could find himself fast-tracked.
I would put Serge at a similar level to both Cesc and Jack at the same stage of their careers, a real talent. He doesn't need a loan spell, although just as Wilshere didn't need one he may get a few months at a PL club. He is strong enough, and mature enough to step up if needed.

have the same impact on the league as Raheem Stirling has had at Liverpool.
At 8 months younger than Raheem, Serge has had a similar rise to first team action as Stirling. I feel given the chance Serge can have the same impact.
With Walcott injured, Chamberlain also picking up a knock and Arshavin, Gervinho and Ramsey not impressing in the wide positions, I feel now is the time to gamble on the youngster.
His rise to his league debut yesterday has been immense. His stay in the youth team was a short one, as he was head and shoulders over his peers. His step up to the reserves was seamless and he quickly established himself alongside much older team-mates and looked a class above many experienced opposition players over last season.
His rise is very comparable to that of Cesc, and a start in the Capital-One Cup against Reading is a must. If he performs that night Wenger will find it hard to ignore Gnabrys claims to a starting place.
A real talent who could play a massive role between now and January.
I talked about Serge and Emi Martinez way too much than is healthy for a grown man back in 2012
