In my opinion we were. We created enough to win by 5 or 6 goals but on the night the guys just couldn't finish..

They are like Arsenal with FA Cup. Its there trophy

Wether we’re better than them or not we should have taken our chances and won the game comfortably

They seem to have a way of winning games

We missed like 3 or 4 great chances 1vs1 with their keeper

They rode their luck and got the win

I dont really care anymore, but seeing them dive and time waste like all fecking spanish teams just makes me wish they had lost

Oh well, this trophy was a bonus attempt for us as CL was already secured

We were better than them, they just took their 2 chances. We missed shed loads.

Hope we get to knock them out of the CL next season

A Ferrari is comparably better than a Ford Transit in a number of ways.

I'd still prefer the Transit if I had to move a considerably big piece of furniture.

We absolutely mullered them. It was funny BT were talking Banega up against us when he was completely anonymous against us and Sevilla defence and Midfield was non-existent against us. Just goalkeeper and 2 scrappy goals out of nothing. We should have won our last 2 Europa League games bu 6 or 7 but bottled it.

If you see the stats of Sevilla games we were the first side to batter them in a long time.

That’s not how football works. You were ahead once and failed to defend your lead or build on it. You score from one of your later chances, there’s no guarantee you’ll have the other handful you created.

At the end of the day, Sevilla won and we lost. It's something we have to learn and improve on for next season.

Football is so unfair. We were miles better than Sevilla in the Europa League this season. We create like as many chances as they do in a game every half and they win the competition. We allowed next to no chances as well compared to them.

Squad wise this is the worst Sevilla side to win the Europa League. Just high efficiency rules.

I think we finished 6 clear chances and 4 half chances. You could see Sevilla had no idea what to do so just hoped to stay in the game and land a sucker punch. I feel for Solskjaer in a way as he saw his side create about 50 chances in last 2 Europa League games and score 0 from open play and about 12 big chances in them. Crazy if you think of it like that.

We really were. To say United were the better team on the day by some margin is just stating the obvious. Unless the better team on the day is always the one that wins. Which is obviously ridiculous

One thing I noticed is Solskjaer has pretty much us mullering nearly any team we face. Remember the season before saying Man City were gonna take years to catch but we took them to the cleaners in both league games and wasteful finishing stopped it being 5 or 6 in both games.

I reckon if Sevilla had the chances we had they would have scored at least 6 of them.

Yes I know but it was almost as one sided as the Bayern and barce game when watching it.
We literally took them apart time and time again but the guys continuously bottled it Infront of goal.
It was a really hard defeat to take on the night and still quite annoyed about it.

The lost to Madrid when that player got Nani sent off for nothing still bugs me to this day.
Also the loss to Bayern when ribery dived to get Rafael sent off...

I don't let go easy 🤣

Sevilla had consistent, competent, goalscoring forwards, United didn't.

Sevilla have good threat down the flanks and good delivery into the box. This is something we haven't had for a long time.
