By your logic, arsenal are a better team than United right now.
They beat us 2-0 in the league... They must be better than us right?
Spurs also drew with us 1-1 in June... Meaning that we are of equal ability... We are not better than spurs or arsenal.
Burnley also drew with us not so long ago, they must just be as good as United too.
Watford best Liverpool 3-0, guessing they're better than Liverpool as well, based on your logic.
Saying that, Watford also beat us 2-0, meaning they should have won the league easily, beating us and liverpool with ease.
We also lost to teams like Bournemouth in the Pl, they should be top 3 based on the win against us..
Also barely scraped past Partizan and Az Alkamaar in the Europa...
It took us a penalty shootout to beat world beaters Rochdale in the carabao cup..
On your logic, all these teams are of equal ability or better than United.

There really is no wind-up here. I think Utd fans are genuinely being serious that they felt they deserved the Europa League because they got more XGs than the winners.
How about we just cancel next years CL and give it to Utd, as they’ll out-XG everyone they come up against? It doesn’t matter that they can’t defend and can’t put their chances away - the XGs will make them worthy winners.
