I'd be surprised if he was convicted of assaulting a police officer without footage, but that if he was, itnwould carry a bigger punishment than a fine.

My opinion on whether or not he is guilty is based upon the club I support. I support Man Utd, therefore in my opinion he is not guilty. I understand that fans of other teams will believe that he is guilty based on the evidence they they support other teams.

I have not followed the case.

Yep. There was a case not long back where a woman punched a cop in Dubai and escaped jail. I'd expect that they are a bit tougher over there than in Geece.

The officer was asked where they had received their clear injuries of their had been no scuffle. He couldnt answer.

You either agree he wont get convicted with assaulting police (in which case you agreed with me) OR he will but will get away with a fine, which is unlikely.

There may well be mitigating factors which will affect his sentence. For example if his sister was injected with a substance, then what was she wearing as she would have brought that on herself if she was scantily clad.

the irony of those wanting to proclaim maguire guilty is that they want to simply take the police officers on their words. Clearly people who have not been to this sort of places and don't realise the officers can also be thugs in uniform
