There was alot of passing the buck going on in the midfield that last 10mins, nobody willing to take responsibility.

And the other 80.
Sideways paying infront of their box with players trying to operate in the same space, hardly any runs into the box to occupy their defenders and give us options.
I remember walking through the office and the guys scrambling to put away the back pages of the trade papers looking at jobs. Would tell them it’s alright, expected, did it myself. I wanted guys on the team that were ambitious and wanted to better themselves. Have that any day over lazy, uninterested, comfortable guys.
It’s how you manage that and leverage the desire that is key. That’s Lenny’s job.

Aye I had to read that twice as I couldn't believe it.
It was all Gerrard did anytime they dropped points last season. Blamed the players every time.. most common line being "That's not what we taught them in training"
