Its the fans. Some clubs just have better supporters helping them win.
We failed spectacularly the season before last when it really mattered - Europa final that gets Champions League.
We dropped points against Villa, Leicester, Brighton and Spurs at the end of last season when top four was a very real possibility.
An FA Cup is great but largely insignificant in terms of club progress, the Community Shield is a meaningless friendly.
Perhaps our new manager can make the crucial difference if/when it really matters for the 20/21 season, let's hope so.
This is exactly what our issue is and has been for years. When things really matter we always fall short.
I think this is the reason Jose was brought in, he has the experience of getting teams over the line when it matters.
We have to win a trophy this season, next season at a push. Otherwise, I think fans will turn on Levy big time.

You’re joking right? Hefner been to Highbury? Thegg tv used to call it the library?
That’s because it used to be dead quiet , no atmosphere!
You could hear Wenger throwing bottles from row Z! 😂
Plus the in and out drama by Arsenal fans with Wenger? Is he in? Is he out?
Arsenal got lucky and their keeper bailed them out - that’s it!
With Jose in charge we sometimes struggle to get over the halfway line.
