I thought, at times, we looked really good yesterday. The way we move the ball from back to front was sharp and not many midfields in Scotland will handle that.

What I will also say, and it is with a heavy heart, is that Davis is finished. The game passed him by yesterday.

Both davis and Arfield look like they’ll only be bit part players this season. I think we’ll get another CM in shortly plus Aribo is going to be a regular.
Yesterday wasn’t much of a test and we had it done and dusted by half time.
Lots of positives to be taken from yesterday. A few very good performances from Kent, Helander, Tav and McLaughlin, but apart from the one save it was completely one way traffic. Another clean sheet too

I moan about his use of subs but to be fair it was Motherwell a job to change the pattern yesterday
We were two up and one good save aside largely untroubled
I’ll forgive him and I think he was getting game time into new players legs

What disappointed me was just how schit Hamilton were.
It was pretty easy for Rangers to take the foot off the gas

That said livi aside and I never saw that we have played relatively well
New keeper looks solid so far defence is settledish(is that a word)
Still got to get balance up front

Only saw the second goal, great play and shot by Kent with a sharp anticipated follow up from Tav...would not call that scruffy against a packed defense
I feel sorry for Jamie Murphy. He’s a good player and I thought he’d be in with a shout but I can see it would be hard for him to get back into the side.

The game was effectively dead after the second goal, I'd have liked to have seen a few changes 10 minutes into the second half to give a few of the subs a decent chance to influence the game. Really wish we'd use the 5 subs rule to give some of the younger players game time when we're comfortable too.
Good performance, will be good to get our players back after the international break, Defoe, & Aribo. Hope the new guys roofe and Itten look sharper after the break.
Wish we didn't have the international break though. So boring.
First half I couldn't have been happier. In the end never really troubled so I can't complain at all.
